Just a little help pronouncing those cities. Kapa'a has 3 syllables (Kah-PA-ah) as per the apostrophe separating the two vowels. Poipu has 2 (Poy-PU). Yes every vowel is pronounced, but the O and E sounds of oi are blended together, having no apostrophe separating them. Keep on enjoying these lovey places!

Great, informative vid. Excellent camera quality, production values, etc. For constructive criticism, I liked that you tried to pronounce the names properly. It is not easy. With video/audio editing, one could practice an infinite number of times and use the one take that sounds best. Easy fix. Also, you said that Kauai is NORTH-EAST of Oahu. Did you mean OAHU is northeast of Kauai? Lastly, your fiancé is a gorgeous person! Definitely adds to the already beautiful scenery. She's so shy, though!

Also Hanalie surf is only good in the winter season, the summer time it's completely flat. There's also a museum on rice street.
Thanks for the video! Might want to look into regulating the volume of your voice...every now and then I was jolted by suddenly louder volume
As a Kauaian, I wanna know where the HELL the town of Kapa and Hui is 😂😂😂😂😂

I love to visited.
Please show the correct Queen's Bath.....
Is 10 days too much for visiting for the first time? Should I not fly to Honolulu
Hey Jaffrey. 10 days sounds like a lot of time to relax, which is great! Depending on where you fly from you can fly direct to Kauai. You can get great cheap flights on this website. bit.ly/CHEAPFLIGHTSNOW - It's an affiliate link and I earn a small commission but it's at no extra cost to you. Cheers!
What Airbnb did you stay in specifically??
Born and raided in Kapa'a and love to see people loving my island. Next time if you come find someone like me and we can show you some of the trails less traveled. Cheers and Aloha
PS just a heads up that was just the ocean side of queens bath bit that actual bath in the video which is pretty protected from the open ocean and fills from a lava tube in the rock
Mahalo Aaron! I hope to make it back and explore more of the island. Maybe a pig hunt lol?
@@AlexanderAyling yeah man my stepfather is the hawaii state bow champ lol. And also check lut makaleha hike. Goes to a killer 2 teir waterfall.
I'll be traveling to Kauai end of January. Do you know if the weather is safe enough then for hikes alone then? I'm a beginner but hear so much about the great views and want to try it out. The person I am traveling with doesn't hike so I'm forced to go alone! If you know of any hikers who meet up for group hikes that would be greatly appreciated!! Maybe like a Facebook page or something. Thanks!
@@mirandaramos2877 honestly its hit and miss. The weather can be great but it also can be wet but there are plenty of hikes.
