First mention of Polihale state park in all the Kaua’i travelogues I’ve watched; fun place, excellent opihi on the rocks that are great for a refreshing snack and bring your own beer. On note - most rental car companies require a waiver on insurance for Polihale. The old cane Haul road is VERY rough and it’s a long walk back to the main road.

Crazy for Crunchy have fun!
It was amazing! I went on a retreat at Camp Sloggett high in the mountains. We hiked waimea canyon & swam in the waterfall. I got hiking shoes as suggested - waterproof. Great tip! I enjoyed shipwreck beach, a hidden off the trail nude beach, shopping in Kapaa at the same food truck u showed lol. I also stayed at Kauai Shores hotel. Magical place 🌺
Is 10 days too much for visiting for the first time? Should I not fly to Honolulu
Hey Jaffrey. 10 days sounds like a lot of time to relax, which is great! Depending on where you fly from you can fly direct to Kauai. You can get great cheap flights on this website. bit.ly/CHEAPFLIGHTSNOW - It's an affiliate link and I earn a small commission but it's at no extra cost to you. Cheers!
