I have visited Kauai twice and loved every bit of it. We took a flight on a small plane and the pilot was amazing, making sure to highlight the beautiful beaches, waterfalls, cliffs and canyons. We also did a lauai dinner, had a day of kayaking, hiking, zip-lining and the sunset dinner cruise. Great beaches, restaurants, sightseeing and relaxing times in a lush green island.
Thank you so much for your comment. You are right it is a beautiful island. We don’t know much about Kiribati but after reading your comment we did look it up - wow!! Next year is definitely a year of traveling to new places and this is now on our list. Thanks for the idea!!
@@rimasmeleshyus9486 oh wow! That must have been an amazing experience! Kauai is such a lovely place. What made you leave the island (if you don’t mind me asking 🙂)?
Wow guys, so glad we stumbled on your channel. We just booked our tickets to Kauai🎉 it’s our last Hawaiian island and we are already in love with the others. You got some great shots here… loved seeing the wild pigs and chicks and fishies underwater!! Some great activities and places here we are going to check out!
Thank you so much! You will fall in love with Kauai! The pigs and chickens are hilarious. You’ll see them everywhere but please watch out for the pigs because some of them will run and not care if there is a car on the road. Have fun in Kauai and thank you for your awesome comment! Please feel free to contact us anytime if you have any questions. P.S. your channel is awesome! We just subscribed! 🙂
Thanks so much! Glad to connect with you. YIKES... Good to know about these pigs on the road. We have actually already rented scooters too lol This should be an adventure! I'm for sure going to check out your video what to eat on the island as well.@@worthytravels
@AndyandRachel so glad to connect with you guys too! Scooters sound like so much fun! I can’t wait to see how that goes! Thank you again for watching our videos 😀 @AndyandRachel
@HotelSnob Thank you so much! I'd love to go back to Kauai soon. We love it there! :-) The helicopter was a blast but I don't think I have the guts to do it again! Haha! I look forward to your Kauai hotel reviews!
@HotelSnob oh wow! You’re brave! I’m too chicken to go skydiving! 😄 Honestly, I’ve done both closed and open and I’m 100% in favor of closed. The constant fear of falling out of the helicopter kinda ruined the experience for me. And it was VERY noisy even with headphones. I look forward to seeing your channel grow! Adrian and I look forward to watching your videos. 🙂
@@HotelSnob oh! We love dog sledding too! We featured dog sledding in our Kiruna, Sweden video and we had a blast. We’ve done it in Norway too but Sweden was better 🙂. Which glacier did you do it on?
We’ve had a couple of questions around the drone footage in this video. In some locations where drones are not allowed such as in Waimea Canyon we used our Insta Go3 on a monopod. We did get some interesting looks but we always want to make sure we respect the environment we are in, both for the animals in the area and for other people’s enjoyment. However, giving a different perspective of the area was important to us. In the areas where drone footage was allowed we hope it gives you an appreciation of the stunning scenery that Kauai has to offer!
@firstnamesonly sir, that is not a drone. It is an extended selfie stick that is almost 10 feet long. And if you look at the video, we were on the side of the road. I appreciate your feedback but once again, that is not a drone.
@@worthytravels Thanks for the link. We are going this July 🌺 My first time to HI. I am thinking about the small plane tour instead of the open door helicopter 😅
@@C5gogo you're welcome! We're excited for you! Kauai will take your breath away. It may set the bar a bit high though for the other islands. 🙂 And taking the small plane is a great idea! Doing the doors-off helicopter tour was a risk and I will never do it again. Haha.
Hi there, no drones in the national and state parks but other than that, you’re good. Just avoid areas with high traffic, keep it low, and make sure to register your drone with the FAA.

So many tricks now to shoot footage without using an actual drone to mimic one. Great video

The problem with Kauai, is that it has some of the worst beaches of all the Hawaiian islands. And second, would be the most rapid weather changes.
Thanks for your comment! I agree, the unpredictable weather can sometimes derail your plans. But we didn’t mind it at all, weirdly enough. Which beaches did you think were bad in Kauai?
