Please don't give up TH-cam! This has to be the BEST interior design channel for this type of high-level design. You and your team's work is massively inspiring to me and many others. (Also, Congratulations on turning 40!!) It can be so hard not to feel like you have missed the boat when all you see online/social media are 20somethings living the dream. Seeing you live your best life at 40 and beyond with a beautiful family and successful business is a MUCH needed message that keeps me inspired daily. Please know how much we love your content...and with self-care being the focus I don't think any of your viewers would mind you modifying your content schedule. Sophie, I just found your channel a week ago and I am getting very much inspired by your designs but ultimately by your story, because I resonated so much with the fact that I always had this “talent” in me but I didn’t get to study interior design or architecture… at this point I am a mom of 2 young boys and never had the courage to show what I can do. So seeing you become this amazing brand has given me the affirmation I needed to take the step! Sophie, I appreciate this video is about your birthday and hauls etc.. However I just want to add how unbelievably in awe I am of someone like yourself, where you are, your success and following, just how much awareness you are raising around the Gaza and Israel situation. I can only imagine how many people you have reached. For me it shows how incredibly humble and grounded you are. You know these things can be extremely controversial and can come with backlash yet your still sharing what you believe in and it just shows how morally correct you are. So whilst you inspire me as an interior designer (I followed you many years ago as Ive always wanted to be an interior designer myself!) you inspire me on a more personal level too. That's special. Over the years of following you I've witnessed just a small part of your progression. Its like every project gets better and better! I'm glad you enjoyed your 40th and that you celebrated it in a way someone like yourself deserves to. It looked absolutely stunning. You literally ooze with elegance and class. time for yourself is a must also, especially for mental wellbeing these days so take all the time you need for yourself!

When it comes to interior ideas on youtube, yours is the first that comes to mind. Nobody else can come close to that parisian/english style and you have a very calming voice that's easy to listen.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! As I'm watching this today it is MY 64th birthday and as an extraverted introvert myself I can easily understand how you felt about having a birthday party. I struggle with the same kind of thing and have for decades.
I'm one of those people that can take over a room or melt into the background, so I understand the feelings of such a personality. I LOVED my 40s and my 50s. It's such a special time of life. You'll feel more centered, sure of yourself, your life and your place in the world. You'll feel the confidence of experiences and successes and because of those experiences and successes, you are more mature in your approach to most everything. You understand what works for you and what doesn't. You will feel more prepared to take on things you might have held back from before. It's truly the era of "the world is your oyster" kind of mentality.
I also understand how you can entertain quite often and still feel a bit hesitant to do such entertaining with you being the one celebrated, but I think you had exactly the right approach to it. Have a lovely party with your true friends and family. Including your children in the preparations, as well as the festivities, dressing up in a stunning dress and shoes (you looked lovely!) and just relaxing and enjoying celebrating your life with all those you love and care about and isn't that really just the epitome of a true celebration of our lives. The chef's kiss, so to speak, to a personal and professional life hard earned but well lived. Enjoy celebrating you, your accomplishments, your successes, the life you have created and curated and the possibilities of what this next chapter will bring to it all. So Happy Birthday and may God's grace and favor continue to shine on you and through you, guiding you to continued joy, happiness, new experiences, new successes and much prosperity.

Oh Sophie, I'm so glad you're staying! I only just discovered your channel a few short days ago with your 'Luxury Palatial Apartment' reveal, and I'm so inspired by your work and eye for amazing design. My husband and I purchased our very first home last summer, and I only wish I could afford to hire your company to design it for us. It's a townhouse on four levels, and just over 2000 sq ft. The floors are very dark brown hardwood, and walls in the main living areas an icy, pale silvery-blue. There's a lot of white crown molding and 9' ceilings on the main floor and 8' elsewhere. The tiny entryway is double-heighted. I'm going to peruse all your videos and take inspiration from you to know how to maximise the aesthetic of every room. Thanks for being so authentic and sharing parts of your life with us. Happy belated 40th, and so glad you had an amazing entry into this new phase 🎉😊❤

After going bankrupt in 2020 and losing all our properties and business at 50, I was in a bad mental space until I found your channel. The coverlet in like a reddish earthy brown color it could be layered with the taupe 🤌🏽. I have a feather bed and a wool duvet so coverlets come in clutch.
