A wonderful garden with so many areas for relaxing, entertaining and playing. Lovely to see so much of our furniture beautifully placed and very much in use and also delighted that our Sahara round set inspired the curved area of your terrace. You'll find time to use the loungers again one day!

Thank you so much Sophie for addressing my gym flooring dilemma in your q&a part of this video. I’m so touched that you brought it up. Yes, I’m sure the wood flooring in your home gym will look amazing and I like the idea of partially covering it with a rug. We have two teenage boys who weight lift and they definitely will not be as careful with the flooring as you will be with yours. At the same time we have a younger daughter who dances ballet. Somehow I have to find a flooring option that suits both dancing and weight lifting as well as pilates for me and I want it to look stylish on top of everything else. So I am grateful for any suggestions as I find that the topic of home gyms is not often covered by designers on youtube. I wonder why actually as I think many of us have or would like to have a stylish and inspirational place to workout at home.

Yes I wouldn’t have time to maintain this- there is a team that come in and keep it looking pristine. I do the occasional bit of planting myself and plan the planting and hard landscaping and design layout.

Speaking of gym flooring that doesn't smell like rubber. There are those foam tiles that go together like a puzzle. I've seen them in white and a wood look too, which I wish I'd seen before I bought my black ones. I like them because they are washable. There's also the marley floor that ballet dancers use. I think that has a smell to it though.
Yes I have tried those before but I find they unlock quite easily( at least the one I had did) although it was technically for a kids playmat.

The water fiture in your garden is my deam must , same as you do i find water sound so relaxing And adds this feel of being somewhere else „ Here to your own imagination. The sound of the water is probably my favourite thing in the garden- not too loud and fast just a gentle pace which is so calming
