My 2023 was lower than 2022 due to not focusing on Ebay. I changed jobs back in August, so I've been hyper focused on the new job. My December ended up being my best month of the year. I won a pallet of Harley Davidson parts for $60 at an online auction near me. I have only sold 2 items off the pallet for a total of $1,050 gross, $872.02 after all the fees and freight. My best sell of the year was one of those items. It was a 100th anniversary HD fuel cap, new in the package from 2003, it sold for $600. Breaking down my cost per item on the pallet, I have about $5 in this part. Needless to say I was thrilled! I enjoy your channel, keep up the good work!
If you tell a non-reseller that you sold an item in a matter of minutes on Ebay. Their response: "That's good!" If you tell a reseller friend they will console you because we all shared the emotional trauma of brief excitement immediately followed by crippling regret.
Wow, that is a very big difference between 2022 and 2023. That has a big eye opener for sure. I hope you do much better in 2024. I hope all resellers do much better in 2024 too. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family!
We found a pair of Cartier glasses frames that sold on eBay for $700 recently. We are still in shock. We bought a bag of glasses/lens frames at a goodwill for $20. The bag also had a pair of Oakleys and a couple of pairs of ray bans all of which sold for $40+.
Small and heavy BOLO! Some of my best sales were items didn’t quite know what they were but small. I’ll have to up my game and add the heavy part to my searches.
wow, the first thing you showed, the Gator skateboard might have done more, much more if you found the right collector bc of the story behind it. I met him in 1991 at the Münster Skateboarding World Championship in Germany and 2 months later (l think) he was in jail for murdering a girl and got life !
Hi Justin, not sure what makes you videos great. Have lots of layers and easy to see what’s going on. Same time your audio seems amazing. It’s just different than any other reseller I’ve heard. Imagine it’s your voice which is great, maybe you record in a wooden flood room? Good mic, good FX processing? I find it amazing whatever your doing snd curious as work in the event production field. Far as the cheaper games, I’d lot them up to make them worth your time. Offer something like 20+ in one go.
Justin, love your vids and appreciate your willingness to give back to the community. I've learned so much from you. I started selling on eBay part-time this past Mar and have incorporated many of your techniques to increase sales. Listing multiples every day is the biggest boost to my sales. I just wanted to share my recent quickest sale of 14 minutes. I bought a NOS 1980 Coleman PEAK1 Backpack Stove and didn't realize until I got home it was NIP since the pkg was pretty roached. Did my due diligence and threw it out there for $123.30 (.30 ending another suggestion of yours), expecting to have to make multiple offers on watchers before it eventually sold. To my shock, it sold w/in minutes and at the full asking price. Woohoo! I couldn't get over myself, lol. But, it makes up for another item purchased at the same sale where I failed to inspect the item and what I thought was a new Nest thermostat, was the old one wrapped up in the packaging. Win some, lose some. My favorite sourcing is the Church Rummage sale and am fortunate to have one within a mile from my house and it runs a sale every two months. Amazing finds there. Ok, enough rambling, thanks again for what you do. It's appreciated. Mickey P.S. If you ever want to take a gander, my eBay handle is scubacuba2
Thanks for always having great videos with unique and useful info… Do you plan to release Flipwise I was thinking of getting my reseller genie but think I would like your better if it is available soon-ish?
I realize this video is 8 months old at this point but I hope you have caught on to the resale opportunity that is cameras. I have only been at this for 6 months and I have learned this already. As a result, it's getting more difficult to find them. Nevertheless, they are a popular household item so I feel sure there are many out there. As to "who donates this stuff?" It is crucial to realize that not all people think like ourselves. You are thinking "cameras are valuable and one keeps them." I think "gold jewelry is valuable and one keeps this. High quality clothing is something one keeps." But not all people think like this. (If they did, we would be out of biz.) People value things entirely differently. One man's trash is another man's treasure. Also, people realize time is money. Those who can, dump and go. Those who can't, pick over whatever they have dumped and attempt to resell.
@@mattk8810 depends on how you look at it if it's part time income from home is better than making the same money with a boss and travel to a job site. And if you really need the money or just saving.
Awesome thx u!! I’m part time as well as I work full time as RN in the hospital. Lastly do u have any videos on this flipwise website you are using. Looks nice!!

Really like how you also included the lowest selling items. It is good for people to see the mixture of good and bad sales.

Why regret?
@@mattk8810 It's a joke. If we sell an item too quickly, we think it was priced too low.
Typically if an item sells that fast, you priced too low @mattk8810
because it means that you sold it for too little if it went in minutes@@mattk8810
If it sells too quickly, you priced it to too cheaply. 😮

Great way to display Flipwise. Will be perfect for me so I can ditch my spreadsheet. Im on your notification list. Merry Christmas!
he Pyle National marker lamps were used on the cabooses before they got rid of the cabooses. I've had a couple of them in the past.

Thanks for sharing Justin very informative and transparent video loved it! Cheers from Arizona and Happy Holidays!
I just came across a bunch of Wii games and sold them on eBay this weekend. Thanks for motivating so many people here Justin!
Wow lots of great finds in 2023 !!!
Great content as always! I enjoy your videos because they are all inclusive, the ups and the downs. And then you explain the middle ground as well
Do you believe in listing daily? Or just as much good stuff as you can when you can
Great video man. Really enjoyed this.

Great video!
Great video! How do you find how many listings you do each year? Thanks and Happy Holidays
ebay doesn’t make it easy to find it which is part of why i built my own software to track - that’s what you see in the background of the video
Those are still good numbers it aint nothing to shake a stick at
Its not much money after fees and shipping. About 15k net
@@mattk8810 I'd guess more like $25k or so.

Great info and great video as always. Do you put the items you aren't sure about in auction or do you guestimate?
I very rarely do auctions:

Thanks for all the information. Your net number fees, shipping, supplies and your cost of goods sold?
yep, net is gross income minus all expenses
Is the $50k sales figure the gross number before eBay fees and the cost of the products you buy? Meaning your net number is closer to $30k. Thx u!

What are you using to share your screen and edit your videos
I use the built in MacOS quicktime to share my screen and edit in Final Cut.
What am I missing on calculating the ROI?
Edit: ok-I see what I’m doing in my head-sorry!
🤦♀️
It was a good deal, but I think your math is off Re the 5K+ Canon ROI.
