I'm pretty sure the Coverdrone insurance is better than the DJI refresh plan because the excess is a lot less and there are no limits on how many times you can claim. So if you had a fly off or crashed in the water then I think the excess is only £50 and you get a replacement drone. I believe DJI limit replacements to two ?

Marti, my son had the Parrot Anafi drone which is excellent. However, it simply fell out of the sky one day, from 40m, because the battery failed, even though the on screen battery icon said 23%. Apparently the batteries have several cells, and if one of those fails, the whole battery fails with it. We picked up his drone with a brush and dustpan!!!
