Composition was great but wes typically uses way more depth of field. You need to stop down the aperture a little bit, maybe 5.6 or 8 so you still get some light background blur but not near as intense as where it is.
Not really sure why... but not really on point.... the look is quite off... maybe too much detail in the background and foregrounds and colors are too mixed together.
The thing that's off is the shallow depth of field. Wes Anderson tends to have very deep depth of field. And yes, also no clear color scheme like you mentioned.

Nah the bokeh is nice
@ it is, but Wes Anderson often uses deep focus, you’ll never see that level of bokeh in his films unless it’s an extreme close up.
