Hey, saw my channel as you were scrolling! I have a set of these lenses. I am actually pretty happy with them and yes there are some downsides, not many, especially for the price. It all comes down to preference and budget. I feel you can always get deep in the weeds and figure out ways to NOT buy something but in the end with these lenses, it's hard to beat them on price and performance. I shot a short with them in October and about to shoot another film in June with them. Great video! Subbed.

16mm and 75mm are excellent I've just got the entire 5 lenses kit. I personally prefer the 7artisans vision series but it costs triple or double so I am super fine with Nightwalker for now.
I can't agree more with the insane amount of overwash on these lenses. How are they for lowlight at F1.2? That would be what I would want them for.
So I think at T1.2 they’re an incredible option for lowlight because you just can’t argue with that T-Stop however, because the lenses blooms out a bit and gets more vintage when you’re wide open I’d make sure that’s part of the look you want because if it’s then I wouldn’t suggest it
@@edwardcrockett I really appreciate your honesty. That bloom is definitely something I'm not interested in. That said, the price is hard to knock. I use a Canon R5C which itself is not fantastic in Low Light so I still need to find a nice Wide lens that can get a wide apature. I'm sure I'll find it eventually. Thanks again for the reply.

Great video! I think I'm the type of guy to buy either the 3 or 5 lens bundle then let that be it for my apsc lens collection so that if I ever have (or need) an apsc I can use these solid lenses

7artisans vision line at T1.05 are cool. In fact, your 12mm 2.9 is part, but, the only T2.9 of this kit (because it's 12mm)
Hi! As I'm thinking of getting one of these lenses for videography. Do they support Auto Focus features at all, i.e. for the RF mount?

I had more chromatic aberrations and fringing on my sigma 35mm than this lens tbh 🫶
Yeah it definitely has some but it’s not too bad imo

Used the Fuji 16-55 for auto focus because I prefer auto focus for talking head videos but would’ve actually preferred the Sirui 🤷🏼♂️

I’m sorry that you felt the need to say that. I don’t want anyone to feel like an idiot. Honestly I finished the video saying I’d pick the other lens instead so I don’t know if that counts as a bad review but that was my final verdict. In my opinion that isn’t a positive review but I think the most important thing is that the review is honest and that’s all I can do. Idc if they send me anything else honestly 🤷🏼♂️

So I hear you because there are a lot of people out there that make those types of videos but this isn’t one of them. I had the option to not make this video if I wanted but I decided to because I think that because of all the other TH-cam videos out there about these lenses, they’re being considered by a decent amount of people and I personally don’t think they’re the best option out there for my use case so I wanted to put that perspective out there. If you made it past the disclaimer then you would’ve heard that. Very sorry that you had that reaction though because I almost never make gear reviews so it’s crazy that this is the first video you’ve seen of mine 😂
