They sense that they are reaching temperature limits that could burn human skin, then they downclock.

There's a magnet sticker available online that reaches up to the part where the processor is. If you pair that with a TEC cooler then the processor can be cooled as well
Because it's not going to make a difference. It is already preventing thermo throttling and you will just unbalance the phone and make it hard to hold if you try and put it over the CPU. Plus the internal cooling goes throughout the phone so that's why it is able to dissipate heat in the middle.

This is great! Would really help with cod warzone mobile, my only concern is, with such a consistently cold plate at the back of your phone, won’t that do any damage over time? I want to take care of my battery the best I can and I know that battery don’t really like “extreme” temps.
The results are impressive but so are the results with any cooler on the market... I mean, you can improve the cooling technology, that would still apply on the chassis. You can't implement this on the SoC like we change the cooling system on a mid-tower (or bigger) PC.
the manufacturer have to compromise the IP ratings for that if they want to put it internally. They also have to add fan and propper airflow for that to work.
Great video! Question. I use a Mous Limitless case on my S24 Ultra and it has magsafe built in. Would this still work with the case, or does having the case defeat the whole purpose of the cooler?
Yeah going sub-zero is a bit icky for me. I could see using this on other devices as well (that are less water resistant/watertight) but as soon as you stop using the device real hard... this device is still cooling 100%. Getting the device way too cold for nothing. If it activated only when hot that would be a no brainer to use. But it's anyway still quite an inefficient cooling method.
@@trbdann2 If I recall, this cooler (and some others too) can be controlled by the phone via bluetooth, and have a mode where it detects the phone temperature and automatically controls the cooling intensity. So when the phone is not hot, the cooling is also less powerful.

Probably not, the CPU is covered with a heatsink that isn't flush to the surface of the back. Putting this cooler on will not have any significant effect on temperatures but that is just my guess
Not really, I do have the metal backplate from Jsaux. 1: just getting that outta the way : the SD doesnt thermal throttle, so it won't improve perofrmance. 2: you make a good point about noise. But, a thermo electric cooler, overall, creates more heat. And that device has a fan.... So whatever few RPMs lower the SD fans might run at, ever so slightly-maybe lowering it's noise, will be more than overtaken by the noise of the TEC device. In my experience it makes no discernable difference, or actually MORE noise. Because that little cooler is full send 100% all the time when you plug it in. Constant small fan at 100%.

@@sos.gamers bruh i dont understand anything about Frenhayt
Bruh stop complaining go to Google take the number of Fahrenheit converted to Celsius done
If its 100F just do -30 and then divided by 2, thats how I get aprox the right Celcius
Have you tested any other coolers? Like the Xiaomi BS 3 / 3 pro? If so, how are they in comparison?
Phone manufacturers specially gaming phone should make a cut out that lead to cpu vents.
Would be interesting to see this on the new iPad pros as the apple logo has copper in to help dissipate heat
Why tho, iPad and iPhone back are Made of metal and glass, it's enough
I wish more phones dissipatedore heat through the rear vs the screens. A lot of high end phones run there cooling to underneath the screen. I learned that watching JerryRigEverything.
Yeah because you hold the phone with your hand on the rear... that would be very uncomfortable
@@trbdann2 agreed
Finally, the thing to allow me to cool my Exynos Galaxy S9.
Shit so hot the *frame* of the phone goes up to like 55+ celsius. You actually cant touch it for longer than 5 seconds.
Not my main phone anymore but yeah, it still gets too hot for a phone.
Bro has caveman lvl of knowledge about how air flow works
Please test with and without USB PD 🙏
Since the iPad Pro gen 7 processor is actually behind the apple logo directly that means if we use this type of cooler or black shark pro 4 cooler we will get the most powerful gaming device even better than gaming phones or any other phones that coming this year or the year after it
"Why use Fahrenheit instead of Celsius to make a video that addresses the global impact, rather than just focusing on us?"
@@clash4kurd96 Americans think America is the world 😩😩😩
Where is the RG35XX heatsink mod video..? I could've sworn I saw it on this channel
Thank you so much
What is that performance monitor?
IM PUTTING IT ON MY DESKTOP HEATSINK! LOL
Directly on the cpu bro😂
Yeah a cpu block with 2 of those.
Bad idea, inefficient for those task
@@gyoerdy7832 explain.....
Will you be doing an updated video on the MSI Claw? Since the new BIOS 106 and 109 have come out and significantly increases the iGPU performance.
Recently a software update caused my phone to heat up during normal use.
I remember waking up from short nap and the phone was lava hot. I had it to put in the fridge for 2 minutes 😂
Still waiting for a magsafe-like cooler that charges wirelessly too, avoiding you an extra cable.
Will this function at all with a case installed?
Is this have temp control to prevent condensation?
I have redmagic cooler 4 pro and it does have it it kept the temperature constantly at 33,9° C when i turned it off after 5 hours playing nonstop it was normal
No condensation, i use this kind of cooler about one year in same phone and the phone still good
i'm using redmagic cooler 4 for a year without any issue, can play genshin and wuthering all afternoon cool and nice
@@NguyenLong-fn2jl I want to buy it cause it's cheaper than the redmagic cooler 5
Did you tested it in emulation?
This is definitely what the newest GoPro needs because they overheat too much lmao.
is it celsius or farenhnite
Not sure if it should be on it back??? Did it block air flow?
A really important question y stick it to magsafe magnets and y not stick it above where the processor is ?
Idk but if i were to guess maybe the huge camera bump might hinder it
There's a magnet sticker available online that reaches up to the part where the processor is.
@soundwave1568 even worse can't use it with controllers attached because I'd want to use this for switch emualtion
@@melxbyou can use it with the gamesir x4 and red magic dual shadow, those are bluetooth controller that attach to the sides of the phone without the middle parte like other controller, but the con is that you won't be able to plug your phone
I would like to see benchmarks on the new iPads with m4 with this cooler. Just need a good way for that thing to mount right up to the copper apple logo.
Below freezing ? That's actually insane
Should try these out on cooling handheld like legion go/rog ally. Or it wont work because it's not directly on it due to the back cover?
Less effective, handheld use active cooling unlike phone that using vapor Chamber inside to move heat from the chipset to the middle of the phone
Wow! That's a cool device!
This is great! Would really help with cod warzone mobile, my only concern is, with such a consistently cold plate at the back of your phone, won’t that do any damage over time? I want to take care of my battery the best I can and I know that battery don’t really like “extreme” temps.
Going to get this for my steam deck
The results are impressive but so are the results with any cooler on the market... I mean, you can improve the cooling technology, that would still apply on the chassis. You can't implement this on the SoC like we change the cooling system on a mid-tower (or bigger) PC.
the manufacturer have to compromise the IP ratings for that if they want to put it internally. They also have to add fan and propper airflow for that to work.
@@cakapcakep241 I know, and it's not what we expect from a smartphone anyway
They can put VC on soc for better heat spreading but the TEC need lots of power which not good for phone
Great video! Question. I use a Mous Limitless case on my S24 Ultra and it has magsafe built in. Would this still work with the case, or does having the case defeat the whole purpose of the cooler?
No even with slim cases it doesn’t help cool the phone. I’d say the clip and no case is best
Can i use this while charging the phone to keep the batteries from heating up
is there something like this cheaper for a CPU cooler instead?
Does this work on tablets? cant seem to find a decent cooler on tablets
Nice , but doesn't really seem practicable for a phone, however for a mini PC set and forget.
i wonder which one is better this nubia redmagic or blackshark magcooler 4 pro?
isn't condensation going to kill the phone inside?
@@patriksepte9431that would be expensive one
Does anyone knows if this cooler will work for the oneplus 12?
I wonder if using this chronically could crack the glass on the back of the phone with wild temp swings?
Using this it’s awesome
😔😭Mine isn't working? I just got my replacement in today and I'm having the same issue, with the clip too. I'm using a S24 Ultra new from Samsung online order arrived Aug 1st 😢. My phone does wirelessly charge on my other two devices, they're from ESR... my car charger amount and one by my nightstand... I tried to charge it with a friends iPhone 14 and my old Galaxy Note 9 with the magnetic ring attached. I'm using a Mag case with s24 ultra from Torras. This is the first and only charger issue I'm having problems with... All phones tested with and without case... What to do now ❓🥴
Interesting... it would work with Steamdeck? In order to reduce the noise?
Probably not, the CPU is covered with a heatsink that isn't flush to the surface of the back. Putting this cooler on will not have any significant effect on temperatures but that is just my guess
It would if you use the backplate with metal heatsink that JSAUX sells.
It wont "transfer the coldnes to your phone", it will transfer the HEAT FROM your phone...
Can you but in the next time Celsius too
How loud is the fan for this cooler?
Can you use it with a case??
How loud is the fan?
will it be more efficient than iqoo 2 pro?
