My Porsche Boxster 986 also did not come with a cupholder however there is a solution for it! There are aftermarket cupholders that fit into the armrest, I bought one and they work fine! I recommend it!

1: UnPlug 🔌 the seat 💺 motor. 2: Move the steering button shifter down to the shifter with race car 🏎 parts. 3: install the drink 🍸 cooler in the rear seat that normally does nothing.
Early 996s had `oem clip in cupholders that fit into little holes in the left & right air vent, but seems like your car doesn't have the mounting holes. Probably it is a later model. You might just swap the air vent surround and get the OEM cupholders
I bought an aftermarket cup holder for my 996. It slides between the center console and the passenger seat. Work great, was inexpensive and doesn't impede on the passenger.
Another solid video man. Not sure if you ever made a video about this but if i can ask how you afforded a tesla and the porshe (i.e. what are you doing for work/income). Is it the film work?
Ebay or I guess a Porsche main dealer will have the correct for your car original Porsche cup holders.. You can buy a pair they clip into the dashboard air vents just inside the doors
Hi Noah wow 5 things that's more than expected lol... So check out messages for my idea to sort that seat thing .... Also I think that gear lever should manually change up & down so maybe get that looked at ... Mph should be around 20mpg even for a tiptronic unless it's C4 then 18-19mpg ... manual C2 are 21-24 mpg you can get better but ofcourse that's no fun 😂.... The cup holder thing is everyone's 996 problem but loads of aftermarket options...bottom of the seat , in the armrest and on the dash ... 😎👌 I'm so glad you and this car met ... Your helping the 996 community get even more love 💕💕💕
Man coming up with any list was hard 😂 there’s really nothing horrible about this car! It’s a C4 so that makes sense why it’s closer to 18-19 mpg. And thanks for the tips on the seat i’m gonna try it this weekend, i made this video before i saw the response. Thank you again, i am too so glad i met this car
Yeah man there maybe a way to reset the seat. I hope to get my 996 in a few years. I’m thinking of a 4s. I found one right now I would love to get but I don’t have the money for it at the moment and have a lot going on.
The low key video was just fine. Feel better soon.
thank you! glad you enjoyed

The dot 1 996 911 never had cup holders.

definitely open to making one !
Saw a different TH-camr install a cup holder that basically clips into the head unit on the passenger side
Looking for a targa or turbo myself bro.
can’t go wrong with either, turbo looks nice
I just got a 997.2 and I have the same “issue” with the electric seat, have not figured out it out yet

yeah! working on 3d printing one now
Thanks for your work man! Looking forward to every video! And PLEASE put on the Carrera rear Badge!😊
not a fan of no badge? i’m indifferent about it, but waiting until i get paint correct to put it on
Imo it's a must, flat black on silver would be perfect👌🏼

@@nhpstudio yes C4 TIPTRONIC about 18mpg is right 😂

That’s okay! timing will do its thing, and bring you the right one
The only thing I hate about my 996 is wondering when my $30K Porsche will demand a $30K engine rebuild... otherwise I love the thing to death.
What's the milage on it?
123,000 kilometres (~76,000 miles)
All those things are unique to your car or driving style 😂
My BMW 540 is more economical 😂 However my JDM Forester STI did worse when it came to fuel consumption..
