    Thank God someone is showing some love to the 5th gen ZL1! Please please keep these coming if you can! This is a similar setup to what I wanna do to mine except mines a manual so I'll need a clutch... But still.

    I'm sending my ride back for an added build. I have the BTR stage 3 cam, 2.45 upper pulley, ID1050X, duel catch can, with 2" headers, 3" cat back and 4" duel exhaust tips (CORSA). I'm adding Magnuson 2650, Nick Williams 103mm throttle body, Roto Fab Big Gulp cold air intake, 9.10 lower pulley, 2nd fuel pump for 100% e85, Arco duel heat exchanger, Texas Speed ported cylinder heads, lifters, push rods, Monster S triple disc clutch kit. J&S Performance and Tuning said we should crack 900 whp to my 2013 ZL1? I also run ROTELLA 15w-40 engine oil. I am scheduled for 4-25-2022 build and should have an answer by 5-6-2022. Great content! ✌
    Update, my ARP stud kit is back ordered! Throwing a drag. Arriving around 7/9/22 Maybe?. So I am waiting on a back order before the build can start.

      @@ronnytavarez1140 It's not! Pissed because the distributor who sells the material to ARP, DOUBLED in price! Now ARP is shopping around for another distributor. They head bolt kit is around $430. So me and others are waiting for the kit! It went from May to June and now July? Totally sucks! ✌

      Mast Motorsports 255cc heads, springs, trunnion/Btr stage 3 cam/ mellings high flow oil pump/ kooks long tubes/ corsa extremes/ ZL1 fuel pump/ CAI intake/ Airlift 3P / Upgrates rotors and wheels! Looking to add 416 forged internals, this supercharger, big gulp intake, fore triple pump, injectors, DSS 9” rear end and either 17in welds or do a 15” conversion

      @@ApeMotorsports I ordered my 2013 ZL1 6MT brand new in June 2012. Had it 10 years now and it's still bone stock. Your 5th gen videos have me drooling at the prospect of what could be a totally epic car. My totally epic car!! Peace brother.. keep up the fantastic work and content. Thank you!

    Looking to see where you mounted the regulator. Don't see it anywhere and that's kinda nice. Must be tucked back in on the passenger side behind the strut tower brace?

      On the return systems for 5th Gen we mount them in cabin air filter area.

    My final dyno numbers are 957 whp, 846 torque, with 16+ lbs of boost @ 7,000 rpm ✌

    Anyone know if the magnum 2650 come with a complete kit for install or is it just the supercharger? I got an Camaro SS LS3 so im curious if it comes with heat exchanger, resovior, injectors, etc.

    What is the smallest upper pulley that is offered for the 2650 to get 18lbs boost or which size would you recommend? And what do you recommend for a 13 ZL1 with BTR stage 3 cam, 9.10 lower, 1050 injectors, 103 NW throttle body, 2" headers, 3" cat back w/ Corsa and dual 4" tips, BG 5" air intake, ported heads. MM Catch can, The magnuson with a 3.5" upper has me at 11 lbs of boost. That is what the tuner said, based a safe street tune before we put on the dyno. Braking in Monster clutches (500 miles). Feels slow! I don't get on it, but I can tell with my old stock w/ 2.45 upper pulley feels like it had a quicker response. Thank you in advance! ✌

      You should be close to that boost now on those pulleys. This car has a 8.6 lower with an 85mm(3.3in) upper and I was just touching 17psi. Make sure the bypass is closing down all the way. Are you on e85?

      Yes. We added the secondary with the new build. I have the sensor and was running 50/50 at the time. I will mention about the bypass needing to be closed all the way. I appreciate your response! Great content! ✌

    Hey Matt. How much porting did you have to do with the stock Magnuson snout to get the 103mm TB to work? I'm putting one on my CTS-V and Magnuson states that in order for the 103 to be used the p/s reservoir has to be moved and the 120mm snout with an adapter plate must be used? Just trying to get some insight.

      We haven't done a 2650 on a cts-v so I can't comment on fitment with a ps pump. I basically port the 90mm inlet to the outer edge of the o-ring groove. You have to be careful as some areas get thin when blending into the inlet. I blend it back into the inlet at least 2". You need to remove quite a bit of material. I start with a carbide cutter bit made for aluminum in a straight die grinder to remove the bulk and cut out the o-ring groove, then cartridge rolls as a second step, then a flap wheel to finish.

      @@ApeMotorsports thank you sir, appreciate your help! How much do you think one would be leaving on the table going with a ported LSA throttle body over a 103? Build is very similar to this particular ZL1. Just trying to weigh all my options.

    So you can run about 15psi or so on an LS3 without meth injection?

      We only take LS3's to 11-12 psi max even on e85 or meth injection. The LSA's can take quite a bit more because of the lower compression ratio and stronger rotating parts.

      Meth injection is an alternative to e85, can be used to supplement fuel, and does provide a cooling effect on intake air temperature. It works well with the exponential heat generated when pushing smaller stock blowers(especially lt4's) way past their peak efficiency. We don't use it very often with e85 available where we are, and usually just upping the compressor size if we're pushing a blower or turbo to its limits. It does add a layer of complexity to a build with keeping a tank full and adds another failure point. If you're tuned on a meth system and that system fails in any way, you can run lean and hurt parts.
