Physical recovery is one thing, mental recovery is a whole different animal. I wish him and just as importantly, his wife, the best of luck. Hope they can overcome the mental anguish they've been put through. If they can make it past that together, nothing will stop them.

Very happy to see the Sergeant miraculously recovered in less than 40 days, where he faced a situation of clear death...but good always wins and listen to everyone reading, the rain and storms may last, but the sun will finally rise!
Total respect and thanks to these true heroes who deal with unimaginable situations every day!!

All from a convicted felon that should’ve never been back on the streets.

    A few comments, questions, suggestions:
Sgt. Elliot, I'm so glad for you and your family that you survived this.
Look into DMSO for further healing. DMSO crosses the blood brain barrier.
ALSO Arnica- for any head injury ( I know, I've had two serious-
ARNICA will help even after years from when the injury occurred.
Football players who have head trauma should be taking arnica.
    (Homeopathic, gel, tincture)
But why aren't they able to remove
the bullet and why did you have to go outside of California to be treated
for this gunshot? I'm sure California has plenty of emergency facilities
which are more than capable of dealing w/ gunshot/head/neurological
    injuries.
As all those other officers were so fixated on the criminal who was shot
how are they not wondering where you were? They heard gun exchange
who did they think was the other party?? I'm glad you had one officer
who asked where you were, he fought hard to reach you.
Sgt Elliot is so right that a sudden shock of bad news can actually
create the initiation of a disease- so it's intelligent that he did think
to use his ring camera in order to not create an emotional unexpected
    shock to his wife .
Sweet Laura also having to be a mom for her children as well as keeping
it together for her husband. I can't imagine all that flashed through her mind
    during all this.
So great they all pulled through.
    Remember Sgt Elliot:
Every cell is eaves dropping on your minds thoughts.
SO- if you find a day where physically you can't do something,
use your mind! The body can heal!! Our minds help incredibly.
Pharmaceutical drugs are never an answer to healing- just
to remind you. Nature and living life is how we heal.
Why, would any armed forces try to approach or apprehend anybody who could
be dangerous in such a public location like a grocery store? (when present danger isn't
occurring) Perhaps plain clothes could have tracked him to
keep an eye on him which could have created a less volatile response from
    him.
Plain clothes or not, why couldn't you guys surveil him and wait till he either got home or
was in an EMPTY, less public area?
That was highly reckless as this person wasn't being sought
for murder or terrorism was he?.
Not only was there a serious disregard for life for the public but
also for the person who owns that grocery store
It's difficult to not see this as a calculated attempt to create a psyop- trauma based situation
for those people every time they go grocery shopping.
I'm sorry a human had to lose his life but we all have a right to defend ourselves.
