Wow ! You two are perfect together. Gloated both funny and you make each other laugh. ❤️. I enjoyed your vlog so much. We are going this summer and I would have preferred going around the time you went as it is less crowded
Omg thank you so much!! You are so kind 🤗🥰 we really are trying to just have fun with these videos so we’re glad it’s shining through 🫶 And summer will still be a blast even though there might be more people! Cheers and hope to see you on the road some time 🤗
So glad you enjoyed it!! It was a fun vid to make. Santorini is wonderful 🥰🤗 as per your questions: we didn’t rent a car in Santorini as the buses between Fira and oía are cheap and those were the main spots we wanted to explore by walking etc. Also, the cliff diving spot is right below oia, go down the steps, there’s a trail to your right (will probably see people going on it). Also, you can zoom in on google maps and there’s literally a place called “cliff diving spot” haha! Very fun time! Let us know if you have any other questions. When are you going?? 🤔
Hey there again 🥰 it always makes us happy to see your comments 🫶 We have one standard EBag and one Motherload! Not sure how many liters they are, but we use them because they’re the absolute maximum airlines will let you use as a personal item haha 😂 Definitely recommend them!! They’re great.
There's a lot more to see in Santorini. The ruins of Akrotiri are probably number one, the trip up to the monastery on the highest point of the island is well worthwhile, and the black volcanic beaches are something you will probably never see anywhere else. When I went there in 1969, there were several interesting artisan jewelry shops in Fira, but maybe that is all gone now.
Yeah we thought about going to these spots also, but we mainly wanted to soak in the iconic white buildings, as well as swim in the wonderful Aegean! Next time for sure 👍🥰 Jealous u got to see it back in 1969! Were there a lot of white buildings back then? Curious to hear more about your experience 👍
Yes there were white buildings and Blue domes, but a lot less buildings. Since they built the airport it has become a destination for mass tourism and there has been a massive construction boom. One day when there were no ferries going in the mules were at a standstill and a friend and I arranged with the mule drivers to take a ride up to the monastery. We passed through a lot of fields growing figs. The scenery is terrific and it is probably one of the most iconic sites in western civilization.
Super interesting! Wish there were some sort of time machine to go and see it back then. Guess maybe you can just go to some other islands that haven't become as famous. 🤔
Wow!! That is beautiful 😍 you guys do such a good job!!! Thanks for bringing the world to us!!
Daw, thank you so much!! :) You are so supportive! We so loved Santorini it was wonderful. 🥰
Santorini was so amazing when i went in August and would go back again. I went to most of the places you went to!

@@WyattandReykaActually I'm just going to Crete this time. Taking my two grandchildren and they prefer stuff like water parks to ancient history.
Hahaha can’t blame them. Water parks are pretty neat. Enjoy Crete! We loved it there 🥰
Pronounced “ Eee-yahhh”
Well actually you both mispronounce everything in the video even the word “Mediterranean”
Thank you for letting us know! Our pronunciation definitely needs some work😅
you should have taken caprice papadopoulou, instead of snickers. have a good time.
Haha next time! Snickers is just so good we have a hard time choosing anything else cause then we’ll be disappointed…
Sorry guys. You should have checked pronunciation first! It is pronounced eeaa (Oia)
The photography was amazing.
Oops! 🫣 pronunciation will be the death of us 😂
Glad you enjoyed the photography though 🥰🤗
