    In this video, we talk about what this car needs enhancement wise right out of the box. I currently have about 30 hours on this machine and have had an absolute ball. The 1 million weight oil in the diffs works great, the RTR plastics are hard and extremely durable. Everything on this truck out of the box is fantastic, some fine tuning on suspension for my driving style makes this machine a real pleasure to drive!

    Great job explaining. Huge rock bouncer fan. Tried tuning my Wraith to do it. Love this rig!

    when you have this thing apart it would be cool to see the axles and skid side by side with bomber skid and ar60's. ive seen some measurements but not off the car side by side pics. would the skid bolt up to a bomber chassis and visa versa?

    What's your opinion on using motorbike shock oil in the shocks instead of silicon oil ?
    Thanks for a proper review 🍺🍺

    • @JtmwTv
      @JtmwTv  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s probably too thick. The RC shock oil is really great for the o-rings built into these shocks. Even thick fluid isn’t terribly thick in these shocks.

      @@JtmwTv I asked because I use motorex 5wt in my buggy shocks it's great for bashing around 10wt if I'm scaling more.
      The shock action is super plush and the progression rate improved.
      Check out my driving videos on my channel you'll see what I mean thanks for the reply Appy New Year 🍺🍺

      @@JtmwTv I recommend you give it a try there's no effect on the O rings or seal's I had the oil leftover from servicing my MTB fork's so I bought a litre of each weight to play around with the progression rate.

    There are a lot of people snapping the front axel. Are you sure you have managed 30 hours without breaking one???

    • @JtmwTv
      @JtmwTv  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve seen that, yes 100% no issues out of my front end. At 55 hours as of yesterday.

    On your orange rear spring. Is that a bomber option spring

    • @JtmwTv
      @JtmwTv  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. It’s the orange spring rate for that width of shock! It’s also the extra long version.

    • @JtmwTv
      @JtmwTv  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      These shocks are 140mm. Bigger than anything produced before.

  • @nathanstoughton5641
    @nathanstoughton5641 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Is the orange just a coating or is the color all the way through the plastic? My concern is that once it gets scratched up it'll show a different color.

    • @JtmwTv
      @JtmwTv  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The orange plastic is orange all the way through.

    Why the open diffs?

    • @golferchin76
      @golferchin76 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In RC, open diff = tunable limited slip differential, to fully locked.
