Hi i have 2 exhibition budgies 1 male and 1 female who share a large cage. We got them at about 3 months old. Ever since we had them i find it impossible to take my male and i don't understand why. I have tried all of the basics placing my hand in the enclosure to get them used to me, given them mullet and nothing works. The female i can perform step up and she will go onto my finger. But the male every time will jump to the bottom of the cage or even try to bite me. I have tried for month even had them out of the cage and he will just avoid me. Which is a shame because we wanted to bond with him. Any tips?

I think you shoul make a pond in aviary and also increase size of aviary it would be better as they will increase in numbers in upcoming months please do it

I think making a pond won't be that good(if the pond is deep)
Cuz the budgies might drown yk
But if the pond is not that deep then no problem

Whenever I try to do recall training and open cage ... My budgies flys to me and then he panic and fly across the room and end up hurting himself
