Thanks for explaining that! I only know tagalog so I was assuming it was a Cebuano term. I was even slowing down the audio just to try and figure out what they were chanting... funny.

Another cool vlogger whom you should meet is Canadian Kyle "Kulas" Jennerman of "Becoming Filipino." Finn and Snow (both of whom have collaborated before) now more know about Philippine culture and tourist sites ..... probably more than Filipinos themselves, hahah! As for this video, it was just awesomely AMAZING. There are more festivals, just like this, celebrated in different cities, in different times of the year. Go to Bicol Province is where I am from. Try the Bicolano food there. See the Mayon Volcano, and Spanish colonial era churches in and around Naga City. Also, check the beach on Camarines Sur Is.

That was awesome. Traditional Filipino way of celebration. I felt bad for some kids who grabbed Lucy's chest, taking advantage of her being inn the middle of the crowd. But I'm happy to see you guys having a lot of fun.

It's really crazy during Sinulog. I usually don't go out but my Japanese friends wanted to experience the event. This is basically what happened to us as well (Minus the groping part).

You might also wanna like Kaamulan festival in Malaybalay Bukidnon Philippines. It's a non-religious festival featuring the culture of the seven tribes. There's a street dancing and then ground performance and a lot other amazing activities like rodeo and etc. By the way it's being held every second half of February to March 10.
