I've got a V1 arriving tomorrow, Corally will give you a lot of the V2 parts for around £30-35 before postage, and V1 only costs £340 so you get a lot of truck for money it seems, I still think it needs few upgrades like 7075 braces, a bash bar and possibly the new V2 metal centre diff or the 7075 centre diff, but I think that would make it insanely tough and still within price range of a V2 without some of those upgrades
Just got my first team corally! the shogun xp 6s I also own the aarma Typhon 6s and Krayton 6s and that shogun is faster out the box the only problem with the car is you can't run it on 6s until you oil and grease all 3 diffs at the proper ratios smh not really rtr for that tuning but definitely able to run the car at 4s with no diff drama straight out the box and boys even at 4s she's a monster! It's nowhere as near as bash proof as the krayton but you can upgrade the part's pretty cheap and more readily available then you would think.
Should Corally be worried for copying the Typhon? Is the real question. LOL!!! Looks like lots of fun! Impressed with the unbranded hobbywing max8 as stock! 👍🍻
The Radix is not a copy of the Typhon. All 1/8 Buggy’s look very similar... check out some of the early Mugen’s... see where some of The Typhons designs came from 😉👌
@@rcwreck-creation oh dude not another one. "Clearly" was meant as in. The Python is a closer shout to the Typhon by looks and by one letter.. unlike the Radix6 cleary the word makes you salty.
Love the look of this. Not seen it in the flesh but looks lower and wider than the Typhon with a better stance. That said, the shell looks cheap in comparison. Can anyone who has seen both up close comment? Not that the shell is a deal breaker
Ive been looking at these the past 2 weeks. Some sellers in USA are coming off the price, but parts aren't as easy to find like bigger brands such as arrma, traxxas. I like the cars, but I worry about buying something and then it discontinuing lol.
2 quick points... I agree that RC manufacturers should post real world attainable speed results for the RC as it comes out of the box. What I believe those numbers actually typically represent however, is a mathematical representation based on the gears in a vacuum, under no load, no resistance and zero friction. Not all RC manufacturers but, most. Next, lipo batteries don't like being cold? True however, that's internal battery temps. Lipo's could care less about the temperature of the air around the battery. If you take the battery from your warm home to your warm car, the battery is not cold and should work flawlessly. It's not like it's going to get cold while in use either.
I think Lipos operate at their maximum performance over 75F.... so being that it was 0C... I’d say by the time they have got up to temp, the voltage has dropped off just enough to reduce the speed by a small amount. These do 60 out the box, I’ve seen them do it. So it’s either the air temp... or my Lipos are getting old.
@@TomleyRC could be, I'm not saying that you are absolutely wrong, I just don't find it logical. We are not talking about a low density object. It's like a frozen stake in 100 degree F weather but the opposite. It doesn't thaw immediately and it takes even longer to penetrate. I'd guess the cold had a greater impact on the drivetrain than the batteries. JMO, no shade or disrespect just how is see it and having a discussion. Nice RC regardless. Team Corally makes a very nice RC. I'd say IMO, it is better and tougher out of the box when compared to the Arrma Typhon but it's not an Arrma killer simply because it lacks the aftermarket support. Also, though parts are available in the US, they aren't abundant. I love my Kronos. It's my second favorite 1/8 scale. My favorite 1/8 scale is the Team RedCat TR-MT8E BE6S. I don't own a 1/8th scale buggy yet. I want to get a Typhon roller for a drag and drift build. I want to use the Mohave chassis for a dual motor build. I don't want to go crazy with it, I'm thinking dual sensored running 4s each.
@@TK_Mo It’s all good mate. I like to hear others thoughts on things... Over the last few months I’ve done a fair few speed runs, and the speeds/battery life doesn’t seem to be as good as the summer. Your explanation seems very plausible. It will be interesting to test it again with the same Lipos but when the weather picks up.. and I’ll make sure they are keep warm prior to running. See what the results are 👍🏻
@@TomleyRC I'm open to suggestions on chassis for that dual motor build. The Arrma platform will be expensive. People are proud of there used Typhon's.

What The Tank RC said... i CAN get a Team Corally in the USA. Well, i THINK i can. I 've seen reviewers, like GAPZ A to Z just dropped his SHOGUN V2 unboxing. To my knowledge though, there is only one distributor here. I mentioned trying to order one and i couldn't get the damn order confirmed and my bank reversed the purchased. Sadly, for a city the size of Austin, Texas where i drive about 45 minutes to, usually for disappointment. There is only ONE hobby store with hobby grade stuff. it is Hobby Town in a 600-800sq ft space. Mostly Gundam display cases. i can't buy anything outside of the Horizon Hobby family of stuffs at their website nor at their brick and mortar franchises. Team Corally is probably not too happy that i can only watch videos of their products, and that sucks.
@@ThatSwedishGuy Unfortunately HRP is where I couldn't get my order confirmed. sat pending for several days. HRP are the only distributor in the US. I am sure some local hobby shops across the country have some in stock but that's like tracking down needles in meth stacks. wait what. i tried ordering the Radix and it sat pending. i tried to order the Shogun with the same outcome. two weeks later i see all these U.S. unboxing videos pop up. 🤔 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My husband has the v2 dementor and it's crazy fast, and seems to handle being treated rough.
Looks epic 👌 I want one
Just got my first team corally! the shogun xp 6s I also own the aarma Typhon 6s and Krayton 6s and that shogun is faster out the box the only problem with the car is you can't run it on 6s until you oil and grease all 3 diffs at the proper ratios smh not really rtr for that tuning but definitely able to run the car at 4s with no diff drama straight out the box and boys even at 4s she's a monster! It's nowhere as near as bash proof as the krayton but you can upgrade the part's pretty cheap and more readily available then you would think.
Glad you clarified how to pronounce "Co-Rally" I was calling them "Coral-ly" 🤣
Haha... I presume it’s Co-Rally... but I’ve not been told otherwise
@@TomleyRC it made sense when you said it. I reckon you are right Phil
Should Corally be worried for copying the Typhon? Is the real question. LOL!!! Looks like lots of fun! Impressed with the unbranded hobbywing max8 as stock! 👍🍻
You clearly haven't seen the python from team corally haha. Typhon,,,, Python ring a bell lol.
Nope never heard of the Python or Corally before this video to be honest? “Clearly!” 😂
@@TomleyRC yeah Tomley because every company only copies arrma/traxxas ect. These companies would never copy anyone else or would they.
Noo scratches, I like this 👍🏻
Hey dude, where in the UK do you bash?
Corally have a reasonable rep in this field, and let's face it, some 1/10 scale race buggies cost more!
Agree
would you choose the radix 6 or arrma typhon
Tough choice. Both great Buggies
Love the look of this. Not seen it in the flesh but looks lower and wider than the Typhon with a better stance. That said, the shell looks cheap in comparison. Can anyone who has seen both up close comment? Not that the shell is a deal breaker
i just got the python 6s taking it out tomorrow
Ive been looking at these the past 2 weeks. Some sellers in USA are coming off the price, but parts aren't as easy to find like bigger brands such as arrma, traxxas. I like the cars, but I worry about buying something and then it discontinuing lol.
The body shell is like from Bittydesign for Agama A319e buggy.
Huge like. 👍👍,, COOL cool stuff 😊
I really don’t think so they do not have a world market presence to be a challenge to arrma
In comes the power of Social Media
2yrs ago we’d have said the same about Arrma vs Traxxas 😉👌
@@TomleyRC EXACTLY!!!! Corally could definitely do it!! Arrma better pay attention boys!! ☝️💯
Can you please take the shell from a toy grade rc crawler and try to fit it on the cr24! I really wanna see how to do that!!!
Maybe a Land rover shell
Corally is more set up for racing than bashing though Phil. This should be a monster in the racing scene.
Look at the jambo or Kronos or dementor. Those are bashers!
Why would I buy that over a Losi 8, Kyosho MP9 or a Associated buggy all the RTR race versions ?
@@MrRedcain it's a typhon alternative. Pretty sure they moved away from racers.
That's super nice and cheaper so yes Arrma should be worried x
All these new buggies and trucks, what I really want is a good non-tamiya rally car. That looks awesome though.
Omg, yes! A true 1/10 4wd rally car!
@@emiliorosa6402 Yes! Maybe HPI will resurrect and bring something new!
@@Benjamin_Reese or kyosho, love their mk2 fazer chassis
Traxxas has a 1/10 scale 4wd rally car. They also have a 1/18 scale rally, but both of them are more bashers than scale.
@@brysonkuhn3290 it's not a true 1/10. Wheelbase is off. It's way too big next to a 1/10 on road car.
Not the one that's stacked on top of each other but the one that side by side like the original one that come with the c34 and c44k ms
That look like a proper, pocket rocket!! I didn't know too much about Team Corally, but this looks great. Any chance you'll get the Kronos Truggy to try out?! That looks like a monster!! 👍🏻
Looks Awesome.....🤘🏼🤠
I've been looking at one of these but rumors on their durability scare me even though I don't run my cars that hard
Yeah, I think they are much bigger in the UK/Europe. Hopefully they’ll catch up
Hrp should have it in stock as they are the us distributor. And they've also said the team Corally cars is a brand they always will have parts for.
Tiny Adventures in the USA have most of the Corally's, check out Jay Tee RC vids on TH-cam. He has most of the Corallys on there including speed runs + bashing.
Styling looks better than even the Typhon, looks just a beast.
If they made a mojave 1/7 alternative a little cheaper, with more distribution centers in the US, I would probably buy one and they would sell.
Disagree typhon looks wayyyyy better
Amazing car on 6s !!!
1st thing i Do with rtr is a complete disassembly.
But thats me.
Ain't nobody got time for that!!
Oh that meme....
What's the difference between the radix 6 and the python? Keep the great content coming! 👍🏾👊🏾✌🏾
Not sure.. this is my first TC.
It looks as though the shape of the body´s contributing to the good aero qualities this buggy exhibits - I bet you´re right - it´ll be stable at 70.
By the way, the "a" in "radix" is indeed pronounced as in "radish" - it´s the Latin for "root".
Thanks Del.... I think Radish sounds better than Radix. That’s it’s new name 😅
@@TomleyRC Ha ha!
awesome rc and ripping

Wow! A W E S O M E !!!!
That looks like a 1/10 scale they're so loose with the sizing on these things?
1/8 Buggies are generally on 1/10 sized chassis’
