The Tekno got a 17.4 on those tires. I kinda thought it was no contest with the indoor carpet like tread. But I was surprised with the grip. 🤔 a good few rips there Joe.
Buggies, the gigachads of rc, good ground clearance good balance good handling, excellent aero and minimal weight.
you wanna go fast on a dirt, these are the tools for the job.

As a viewer, I obviously couldn't tell how they handled different. I could however tell how the the different tires reacted on your course and that was super fun to see! Have you done a video on how the different style tires handle on your track? Either way another great video brotha! 🍻
Yes it's definitely the driver, my local track has 4-6 TLR typhon competing, and they all drive differently.
To eliminate a variable, you should use the use the same tire on all three cars.
I absolutely love the radix 6 it surprised me with those lap times
I wish corally would make an actual race kit they have alot of potential

I think the track would be faster with the first jump and landing backed up closer to the exit of turn one. That second turn is overshot all the time.
Just me, or anyone else WANTED to hit the monster jump off the 1st double?😁🤪
Tekno really looked like it had the most speed and was flying further off the jumps, but that caused it to go way deep into the corners, looked like it was taking the longest route around the track, so overall slower lap times.

Amazing how well the buggies corner and get around the track. Will any vehicle of different ever be able to hang?
Sure. It’s mostly in the driver as to any finish

Why racers don't break & bashers do. Cheaper made rtr's over race kits.
@old-rcplane-phart Out of all the big RC jumping channels, none of them use a racing buggy? Why is that? I've seen plenty use the Typhon, but never a tekno? Are you sure they're really stronger? The word you're thinking of is "precision" not strength.
You have had the Typhon into the low 16s before months ago.... not very scientific lol. Need a full session of each to get used to them and dial it in then take the best laps and compare.

Come on Joe, you can't possibly be suggesting that either of those cars can hang with the Tekno?! Never mind that you were overshooting the jumps with the Tekno, you had it outfitted with a tire completely unsuitable for a loose, loamy track (and it still posted the second fastest lap time?)! I mean, set those cars up properly and, all things being equal, the Tekno will embarass the Radix and Arrma. Period. Having you suggest otherwise is a disservice to your viewers especially those who think they can show up to a local track with one of these and be competitive. I'd never dissuade anyone from trying racing (and using one of these is a great way to get their feet wet) BUT there is just no comparison. Sorry, I love what you do for this hobby Joe BUT that comparison was pointless and, quite frankly, very disappointing 🤦🏻♂️
