- PART 3 - We take an exciting excursion on the White Pass Summit Railroad in Skagway. After talking to the locals, we find where they all like to eat.
We took that "Once in a Lifetime" trip to Alaska and decided to take the Cruisetour by Princess. We started in Vancouver and sailed 7 days up to Whittier. Then we traveled for 5 days up to Fairbanks with stops in Denali National Park.

I love your videos and information. We are doing an Alaskan cruisetour in June. Did you mostly book your own excursions or use the cruise ship vendors? I went to your site, but can't tell for sure
Hi Beth, I am so excited for you!!!! This was such an amazing trip. We did book the excursions through the ship on their website before the cruise. With that said, there are booths at every port with people wanting you to do an excursion with them. We booked 4 excursions and 3 we cancelled the day we boarded the ship for some reason. So us and several others rebooked excursions at the front desk on the ship and they were very helpful explaining all the options. Thanks for watching and your kind comment.
