  • In this video, we conclude our 6-part adventure in Denali National Park and Fairbanks, Alaska by helicopter and hiking in and out of Denali National Park. We end the adventure in beautiful downtown Fairbanks, Alaska.
If you're looking for a unique and adventurous travel experience, be sure to check out our journey in Denali National Park and Fairbanks, Alaska! This 6-part video series will take you on a journey of a lifetime, as we explore the awe-inspiring beauty of Denali National Park and the wild and rugged city of Fairbanks. See the spectacular views of Denali from the sky and the warmth and hospitality of the local population. Don't miss it! We FINALLY find a MOOSE (actually 8).

Loved latest video. So many animals and Denali - what more could you want!! Will admit I had sinking feeling in my stomach when the helicopter lifted off without you

Thanks Kathy. That helicopter just left us in the middle of no where. Thank goodness we didn't come across any bears up there. There was no place to hide. 😂 ❤️

@@MileswithMcConkey The reason for the reverse route is because we're coming from the U.S. so there is no customs issue at Fairbanks. However, according to another YT cruise influencer (Gary Bembridge), starting in Vancouver, you had to go through Canadian and then U.S. customs.

I’m not a helicopter person, so I’d be too scared for even the 15-minute ride. But, so cool to take a helicopter to your hike & back. The views are insane!

We are doing the same land & sea cruise in Alaska as you have done. Really enjoyed your videos & your comments. Can you please tell me what month or season was it when you did your trip? Thanks again for sharing your holiday with us. 😊

Thank you so much, I have just watched all your six vlogs on your tour. So many great recommendations for my vacation I am planning for May next year which I am planning to do in reverse order. I think the best advice you gave is booking an aft balcony on the cruise. As a matter of interest, what month of the year was your cruise/tour?

Thank you so much for those kind words. We are so happy you enjoyed the videos and that we were able to give some advice. That AFT cabin was our best decision. We took this trip in mid August 2022. In fact, exactly one year ago today. We hope you have an amazing trip, it truly was a great adventure. ❤️

We are planning on doing a reverse 4 day land followed by 7 day cruise. I have absolutely loved your blogs. I am curious how you got to visitor center at 6 am and made it back to the lodge by 10 am? I may need to do this for an extra chance to see some animals

OMG, we are SO excited for you. This trip is so amazing. We took the first shuttle bus from the hotel (5:50am or so) and then took the first free shuttle into the park at 6am. We just stayed on the bus and rode it around. All the animal are out first thing in the morning and then when the all busses started driving around they retreated back in to the woods further. We missed a bear by 2 minutes. I think a little after 9 was when we went back to the hotel and packed up. And to see the sunrise in the park is priceless!! I WISH you the BEST of luck getting to see all the animals!!! ❤️ We wrote about our adventure on our website, Miles with McConkey. Here is the link, I hope it helps you out more:
