As long as I know IND- Suzuki AX100 came with Aluminium Switch bars. In your bike the switches are resembling with Suzuki Samurai. I think it had been replaced sometimes.
My dad had 'made in japan' (written on engine) bike when I was in 5th standard. Even I used it during my college days. Later my father had sell it as he was getting old and also we could not find the 6V battery and other electronic parts. I must say the ride quality was excellent. It was giving 38-42kmpl. Very nostalgic to see this. Thanks for sharing the video
My Father's First Motorcycle is Suzuki AX 100 and Given by the Government for His Field Work. He was a Public Heath Inspector @ the Time. I remember It's License Plate Number is 95 ශ්රී 827. I hope it will survive Some where in Sri Lanka. I love that Motorcycle very Much. But My Father Sell it
It was an absolutely masterpiece bike from speed, pick-up, milage and less noisy point of view inspite of being 2-stroke. Even the contemporary hero honda cd100, the first 100cc four stroke bike was a puppet in it's front and it gave a strong completion to rather noisy but efficient RX-100 from Yamaha.
A lot of parts are not original on this bike. Lot of parts from the latter tvs suzuki. But a pretty descent example. I doubt they sold Made in Japan in 1986. The original Japanese bikes were sold only in 1984. 1986 surely had lot of Indian homologarion.
