This restoration shows that you are a very capable and hardworking mechanic
The piston is fitted in wrong direction. The arrow on piston top should be in downward direction I.e. towards exhaust silencer side.
The head gasket is also fitted wrongly. Just shift it to 90 degrees from the current place you fitted it.
The condition of the Rotary Disc Valve (Section Plate) nor the play of Section plate in between the outer and inner covers is checked which is very important for performance, fuel efficiency and engine stroke.

Whenever one does a bike restoration, the work must be commenced from the engine, as per my view. A failed heart cant keep someone alive.
