Why is it that every time I watch a video of Kingdom Hearts gameplay the whole time they're playing their health at is like WEEEEPWEEPWEEEPWEEP. Like, everyone constantly seems to be almost dead in this game all the time.
Disclaimer: I know this is a comedy video, just gonna list this here in case anyone seriously needs it. How to speed grind the whale with any character: - Megaflare Wave 1 (just use a magic-oriented keyblade if you're playing as Terra, the ice cream one will do) - Slap 2 barrels into the whale - Get on tongue - Square Mine until you're in Rythim Mixer - Mash attack until you get the finisher - Do the finisher properly instead of mashing randomly. - 2~3 full power beats per button should finish off the whale before it can even recover from the stun. No do this 15 more times per character and you're done. Also, I recomend you get all the hastes and keep your HP on red for Reload Boost cuz Megaflare is a tortoise. (muting the TV and puting some tunes to play is a good idea too)

I have og BBS and went multiplayer with a buddy and completely rekted him. haven't played multiplayer since cause he was too scared and now I want the final mix. :(
I loved fighting Monstro! My favorite was Aqua and I always used Mine Square and Seeker Mine on its tongue. They would all go off as several explosions sounded and its hp bars would rapidly go red and drop down. It was entertaining.
What worked for me was using surges/mines to get Rhythm Mixer going on, Megaflare to finish all the enemies, and then using the finisher on Monstro after hitting it with the explosive. I then use mines on the main island and he either runs into them or hits them with the tail. Usually done in 2:30 minutes
Unison rush and trinity limit could be stacked with up to 2 other players in the psp multiplayer mirage arena mode. Thats why its called unison. If you look at the ground trinity limit makes there are two other spots someone could stand in basically
Mega Flare at the beginning plus all thunder surges is the key to beating this easy. Once you get rhythm mixer then spam X to win and do the finisher good. Went by pretty fast all things considered, a minute or two per attempt
I found it easier to spam Mines on his tongue and when he beaches himself on the small bit of land. Probably the most annoying thing about farming this mission is that if you aren't immediately rushing him as the round begins with those barrels he stalls forever if he manages to get underwater.

If you're going for 100% report completion, you only end up doing this arena fight about four-five times. So about five-ten minutes of grinding. My least favourite thing in the Arena is Peter Pan dropping you on damage panels in the Command Board. Now THAT is pain.
If your high enough level you won't need to use sacrifice, just get the abilities that boost fire damage and a high enough magic stat to one shot all the goons. Then when you are on the land piece, do as you did in the video but instead have the best shotlock equipped: Ultima Cannon for this Terra gameplay. It does a ridiculous amount of damage and can kill Monstro in two full shotlocks. You save time by just locking onto the eye at a distance rather than going over to the tongue. If you botch it up, just have a cure on hand as well as mine spells for when it gets real intimate and physical. . . . If I remember correctly, my fastest time in the Monster of the Sea was 48 seconds as Ventus. Needless to say I racked up the medals pretty fast. Actually, now that I think about it, all you probably need to do is go over to its tongue and spam mine spells. I never thought about it, but the mines will probably explode instantly when you cast it and collectively do tons of damage; continuous casting coupled with intense amounts of damage in a short amount of time.
I feel your pain XD, however unfortunately you were doing things the hard way, you can kill Monstro in less then 50 seconds if you have a deck filled with max level Mine Squares and just deploy them on his toungue XD
I know that you were making this harder on yourself for the sake of entertainment, but I still have to appreciate anyone who can find a way to organically reference both JoJo and Star Trek IV in the same video.

There is a faster method. After megaflare phase 1 and stunning him on phase 2, use magnega on the tongue and then 2 square mines will finish him off
I manage to get it with only Lightning Ray and a single Megnega!
