Sivga and Sendy are basically the same manufacturer with different branding. Sendys are their more "premium" offerings while Sivga tries to be more economical/practical. They like to include a bubble butt case for all you donk enthusiasts.
I absolutely love and adore my sv021. As mentioned in this video, if you do not have a DAC and need an easy-to-power headphone, these hit the sweet spot. Compared to my SHP9500, the treble and vocals are comparable, but with much more richness in the overall sound. I find myself hardly listening to my SHP9500 anymore (which are a steal at $65 or whatever they go for now). These are the shit...
I have the Sivga Luan and I looooove them! Best design, best comfort and I love the sound! Even without my hip dac 2 great, but you can really amp the bass up with the hd2! ❤
One of my all-time favorite pairs. IF you like it half as much as I do, you owe it to yourself to try it with the Qudelix 5K DAC/Amp. With that portable little device, you can make these sound even more magical.
@@sockhopsinger Thanks! I haven’t heard a bad word about either of them, which is rare when it comes to online reviews. This will be me downgrading from a pair of Grado GS 1000s, couldn’t justify keeping them though when latterly they were being plugged directly in to a laptop or iPhone!
@@dontatmebro-yes, very good. I use them almost every day with many different styles of music. Still using TH-cam as my main source too, don’t feel the need to try Tidal etc. Would recommend to anyone, great value for money!
I really like the size and look of these. 👍 I wonder what would happen if you played around with a third party EQ? Could you tighten up the bass? Thanks Gamesky enjoyable review. 💯🇺🇸
Value, you say... may I present to you the Meze 99 Noir? I know a review has already been done for the 99 Classics a few years ago, and these are virtually the same except they are darker in color. For value I believe the 99 Noir are better as when Drop has a sale, which is often, they are $180; a good price considering the original 99 Classics are priced at $310. The wonderful thing about headphones is that they have a longer lifespan compared to TWS that run on lithium ion batteries, so even headphones that are several years old are still a good value.
Very solid review. Electronica music 9.5 I’ve had these now for two years and listen to them more frequently than other more expensive headphones because they are fun. Pros -very well constructed and look great -comfortable, especially if you have a large head. Low squeezing force, soft ear pads -fun to listen to, especially distorted feedback. Really shines with electronica type music Cons -too bass forward for my liking benefits from EQing down the bass -muted lower mid range/male vocals -some would say the lively, fun sound is not an honest reproduction of the recorded music Enjoyment of audio is very subjective. In the $150 price range; I’d also look at the Shure SRH 840, AT M50x, and AKG371. Overall opinion-ideal headphone if you prefer electronica type music and don’t require headband/ear pad pressure to stabilize the headphones
If you are looking for a dual 2.5mm to 2.5mm balanced cable to let’s say the earstudio es100 for the Sivga sv021 the following is an easy solution: NewFantasia 2.5mm Balanced Cable 6N OCC Copper Silver Plated Cable for Monolith M1060, M1060C, M565, M565, for AudioQuest Nighthawk Headphone Walnut Wood Shell (2X 2.5mm Version)
Hey gamesky, i have question regarding another tech TH-camr mrkwd-tech guy. Do you have any idea what happened. I'm asking because i know he falls in the group of you and el jeffe if I'm not mistaken
I've had them for some time now, and you're 100% right... super comfortable, agreeable bass, good soundstage, and easy to drive.
Can you drive these with an Apple dongle ??

Those look so comfortable! I kind of wish they folded or swiveled more. But as a studio pair I understand why they didn’t.

I just bought an Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt to go with the Sivgas. Haven’t heard either of them yet but I’m expecting a pretty good sound.
@@funkybeat27 hope it works well for you. :)

Nice looking set, solid review as always .Thank you!!
is there any thicker foam for the cups i find them very comfortable but after some time my ears get to close to the earcups presing on my ears
These and meze 99 are frequently on sale at T Of Modern. I'd probably go with meze for $40 more

Do we have the same FBI agent? Because I've been looking for a pair of wired headphones with decent bass. 🧐
