That remote is really cool. Also, the little robo is fairing much better than i expected, usually these hexapods are pretty beat up after a few years. You built her up really well.
I remember watching videos of this robot when I was a kid and being so fascinated by it. I look back now and realise both how old it has gotten, and how well it was preserved. I hope that someday, someone could create something equally as incredible as the Morphex
I've loved this bot as a concept since I first saw it back in the early 2010's, love to still see it getting updates every now and then. I'm finally in a position to build something similar in the next year or two, can't wait to finally give it a proper go ^_^
Hi Jim! Yeah, it's pretty crowded in there. But there is room for one more servo on the SSC though. Didn't manage to max out. Good to hear from you. :)
Dear Kare Halvorsen, I am a theatre director from Berlin, planning a piece for a theatre in Munich about a Roboter, programmed to help a neighborhood through a mourning process. Your work is really inspiring. Is there any way of contacting you in order to get in touch about the possibilities of renting e.g. your MorpHex robot to become an "actor" on a German stage? Please get back to me, if you read this. Thanks a lot. Rosa
If you can, I would love to see you bring this to the opensauce convention!!! It's a convention for makers, and you'd fit right in. I went there last year, and there were all kinds of robots walking around, but none as cool as yours!
i just discovered your channel and i am amazed by this beautiful robot. funny thing is - i am learning how to build robots myself and i just wanted to know how these hexapods are build . can i use arduino for that ? and if not - then what hardwere system should i use to make these majestic spiders ? tell me because i just realy want to know and i already subscribed to your channel so please don't ignore my existence
So beautiful. I remember in an older video you said that someday you'd make a version of this robot that is more symmetrical and balanced. Have you done that? Is this the more balanced version?
Toujours aussi cool que la premiere fois que j'ai vu votre robot. Il y a plusieurs années déjà... What is your job? Are you working on it or just an hobby?
I dont know what about mass production but i want to myself similar robot but with more functional electronics, but budget is slowing me down drastically so it will be at least another month or two before any working concept appears:)
I am a high school student. I am currently working on a robot called SentryBOT. Your project is incredible. Can you share your code and design with me?
Excess directional stress on servos. You can get the same high pitch wine when working on rc cars and airplanes or a robotic arm when the servo is trying to push against the end stop. In this case the servos at idle are stressed by the weight
10 years old, and still as cool as ever!
That's a really neat robot you built.

I had forgotten that existed. I was fascinated by it from the moment I first saw one of your videos.
What is it's shell made of and how you got it?
It's made of polycarbonate. Originally material from a globe.

I've always wondered, are there documents that show me how to build one myself? I find these things so unbelievably cool.
wew it's been 13 years since I saw your first video
Yeah, I'm getting old.. ;)
You're a master sir. Impressive, always wanted to know how it worked. Thanks.
Please upload more videos on the MorphHex! Demonstrating everything it can do
a legend from internet bro, this design is one of the best
10 years later and I still want one

You have no idea how badly I want to make this lol.. I even designed some parts in CAD that I haven't been able to 3d print yet
Hello Kare, It's amazing how much you were able to fit inside the small robot. :)

It's functional art it's beautifully done,it smoothly transforms into different machines
Your a great inspiration, I love seing your project. It even inspire me to make a spider robot thanks for all 😁
I love this, very inspirational! Thank you for sharing the details.

I don’t suppose you intend on making tutorials on this and your other robots? They’re incredible

Brilliant!
Will there ever be build documents be released for it? Würde mich sehr darüber freuen.
please add a shop so you can get these pretty pretty please?

Great job!
Still waiting your MorpHex in mass and want to own it lake a pet:)

interested to see an AI powered version
If you are willing to produce them in quantities, you could easily sell them, having pretty good pays.
What am amazing video! Now let's watch it
Love this
Cool👍👍👍👍👍
Nice
Your robots remind me of both Half-Life 2 and Portal or similar...
how can i buy this?

I've never understood why this hasn't been picked up by a large corporation. Maybe @BostonDynamics should look into it ;)
this is impressive
