Amazing work Zenta! I am a huge fan! I first saw this hexapod 3 years ago and got hooked immediately and built my own hexapods and even a channel about them! So thank you, you are a legend!
Its great to see that your still making videos, the mxPhoenix inspired me as a young teen and got me really into hexapods. I even had a plan to build a large hexapod capable of supporting up to 250lbs of weight that I would ride on lol.
Seeing them move in this terrain really does make me realize they might be the most robust option for legged motion in said rough terrain. Throughout the entire motion cycle you always keep three points of contact and are thus always exactly constrained. 4 legged locomotion either has just 2 points of contact (inherently unstable) or 3 with very slow movement (only 1 leg can move at a time). Maybe a 9 legged robot could be interesting as well (3 legs in constant contact, the other 2 sets of 3 legs in 'transition').
An interesing thing would be also making the OSU adaptive suspension vehicle except way smaller and electric , since even the original version (which was quite heavy) moved pretty nicely in rough terrrain , thought despite being an hexapod , the gait was more like of quadruped with extra legs
i think that another option that could be cool to explre is to have an arachnid-like robot with 8 legs since you could be having 4 points of contact with the ground
Do you have any resources on where to get started with hexapod software? I'm a programmer with a decent bit of experience on desktop software but struggling with where to start on robotics.
I was wondering, could it be possible to make a robot similar to morphex, but have it be an ico sphere that is able to push out each triangle face individually to move? Not asking it to be made, just if it could be made. Im just thinking that it would require many very small and high power peices to push each triangle that may be too large/expensive to make this robot
Hello, I am new in your channel, your robots are awesome!! Are there a reason to make it with 6 legs?, i love it more if it have 8 legs like a real spider 😂... Is it made in 3D print? Or some metal like aluminum? How many kilograms can it lift? Its to many expensive? Can make it biger? You make a OS for the controler? Sorry if I wrote something wrong. Greetings from Argentina.
Have you thought of getting a version of these made for lunar/other worlds cave exploration, send one to the Moon on a CLPS flight to check out the lava tubes.

right same (except for the part where I built one and made a channel on it)
Cool
I want to be able to make hexapods someday too, so I've started learning Arduino (I've only been learning for 3 days, though)
even after 10 years I am still a fan , nice work ...

Dude you're back! This is awesome, cheers!
Welcome back Zenta, happy to see you and your creations are doing well! Give your Ant a hug from me :D
God bless you sir, for inspiring me into this field. You are great sir
They said hexapods enslaving humans is nonsense, yet one of them is clearly coming for you. I, for one, welcome our new hexapod overlords.
Really impressive platform and movements, fluid and precise. Congratulation

Are you using brushless/coreless servos? The speed may improve and look more insect like.
It's there some more detailed info about this project? It's on sale or it's shared somewhere? Ty.
Are we able to build our own using your documentation and STLs, or is this not an open source project, but a personal one?
Amazing work so fluid in its movement
Impressive, I'm always amazed by it...
Also can this launch, jump? How high? Can it jump up some with front, while compressing back, to get front legs onto something like a step?
Amazing. Its been a long way since ive found your archer video and all the rest

"I heard you got a pet! Did you get like a cat or dog?"
"Well..."
That is so gosh darn awesome
Hey Zenta
Did you have a video called Old People Burning Clutches? I miss that video😂
Lyst å selge en av de eldre hexapodsa til en overkommelig pris? ✌🥳
what are you using for the servo motor

Zenta - awesome stuff. Is it by chance possible to get into contact with you regarding a hexa project?
Have you thought of getting a version of these made for lunar/other worlds cave exploration, send one to the Moon on a CLPS flight to check out the lava tubes.
how many motor does this have?
Great robot ,but need more speed
Love this build! Hopefully someday you can share the stl files :)
It’s fantastic!
*Make it 6 feet tall with a 15 kph top speed please.* :)
Insane as usual
"Oh look! A poisonous headcrab walking through my backyAAAAAAAA"
hey Zenta, it is amazing! Could you help to make a tutorial of how to make it ?
*that one will smith movie from the 90s*
How can I buy the ball someone supply me with a link
Good job! Now give it sentience
Great 👍
Atack of the hexpod! lol
You're back??
Put this at the end of a hallway with very little light and wait for victims. Just the slightest movement will send them running.
idol nice work
I really want to see this thing run FAST!!! Maybe also put rubber on the feet for better friction? I would love to see top speed
Excelente!
How much to make me one?
Can i buy it? I’ll give you alot
Is this for sale?
Sorry, it's not for sale.
@@ZentaRobotics hi sir
Brilliant work just need a flamethrower mounted on top and we got ww3 🤪
Mx64 servo's 🤯 So one leg is around 1200$ x6 is 7200$ for the servo's alone 😏
Cool
