@@jamescawl6904 I feel like the talent already in place in Tampa shouldn't be ignored. Had Jameis not been literally the worst decision maker we've ever seen, the Buccs would have been a fringe contender/SB threat, similar to NFC competitors like Dallas or Minnesota.
Brady just catapulted them into definite SB threat territory by adding his boys in and forcing a culture change alongside Arians.
The turn around Tampa made is, of course, extremely rare. Even more rare, every single piece resigned. That is something that may never be repeated. And all of it is (arguably) due to Tom's reputation, something he may not have built as sturdily in the NFC as he did in the AFC. Don't get me wrong, Tom would have a few rings in the NFC, as evidence by this run.....but 6? I don't know. But that's all hypothetical. What is....is that Tampa is likely to win another with the same core.

Brady stepped out of the shadow of BB and showed he is the system. Attracting Gronk, Fournette, and AB to the team helped a lot. The Oline gelled, they added play action and pre-snap motion (in other words, they listened to TB and worked with him) and Vita Vea came back at the right time. The defense made the right adjustments. The soft schedule after the bye helped build confidence and momentum. Can't wait for next year since they brought everyone back including AB.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting the Bucs defense to be THAT amazing in the playoffs. They played great against the Saints. Then they held up very well against the #1 offense in the league against the Packers. Even when Brady threw 3 BACK TO BACK TO BACK interceptions, the Bucs D only gave up 7 pts against the #1 offense! Amazing. Then they faced off against Mahomes and Andy Reid, and dominated so much that they held them to only 9 points in the SB. Even in this day and age, defense still wins Super Bowls. If they would change MVP to be Most Important Person instead of player, then Todd Bowles would've won it (not a knock on Brady, he played very well in the SB as well). Just what the Bucs D did in the playoffs was something else

Only 3 Picks cause 1 was a drop that led to a pick and another he got hit on as Leonard fournette missed the blocking assignment. People want to over rate those 3 picks on Brady. He also had to deal with 16 drops in the playoffs so that's another factor that I don't hear people bring up.

Having a QB like Brady, especially with all those weapons they got on offense, was the difference in the Bucs this season without Jameis throwing 1 INT for every TD he threw. That guy transformed the offense into the Patriots, but it was even better because of how talented all the skill position players are. what people didn't realize then was, even if TB isn't the best QB at that point of time, which is still a hot debate, signing TB meant signing your entire offense. You don't just get a QB. You get a QB, WR, RB, and TE all wrapped in 1 at a massive discount given that all 4 are/will be legends. Best signing in the history of the NFL.

Been liking your videos for quite some time. They're great to listen to and take great motivation from when I'm working out. My favorite of yours is the one about Gronk (Pre Bucs) cause he's just a happy guy lol

I have to admit that when the Buc's were 7-5 and had just lost to KC. I thought "well maybe next season" TB came back in that game so I was hoping they would get a playoff spot this past season and they did. When TB was able to beat New Orleans in the Divisional round, a team that destroyed them earlier in the season, I thought they had a chance to make some noise this year. They had to do it the hard way by winning all their playoff games AWAY. That's always more difficult. When they beat GB, I still didn't know if they could beat KC in the SB but they proved everyone wrong, and the Bookies made out like bandits. Looking forward to next season.

The fact that this wasn’t even the year they should have won the SB is scary as hell.

Coming from a Saints fan I was sad to see the end of Drew's career go like that but that was the game that made me realize the Bucs were adapting on fly and for a pro sport based on schemes and practiced plays that can be a strategic nightmare.

Tampa Bay had all the right ingredients for a championship team, they just needed a few more players to get them over the top. Tom Brady, Gronk, AB, Fournette were just the right guys they needed.
    And this video was an absolute M A S T E R P I E C E.

What I love about this team, is that they had to go through growing pains to win it all and did that and more. I think a lot of people knew they had the players, it just came down to whether they can put it all together in time
