Totally agree with this message, we was at home debating if we should even post it. We didn’t expect how was driven but also showed us a different side to the world we all love. We never ask a person to drive irrationally, there’s times in a fast car in a straight line, where things can also go wrong we tap out or say it’s enough. The reason this video stands out more is because police was involved and this is the only video we have had that is of this ilk, where a large proportion of other channels do this without, putting hands up or warnings and do video to video.

This is not back roads, it's the A256 around Sandwich, very busy roads, cyclists, tractors, buses, cars, artics, these roads are not quiet, and this idiot does this almost daily!

It's a very nice build, but there's a time and a place for everything, broad daylight when the roads are arguably at their busiest and putting other people at risk for a few minutes of youtube fame isn't one of them lol. It's all fun and games until something happens, and unless you know someone personally who has had their life changed by an accident caused by things like this then you won't appreciate it as much...
To be fair I don’t think it’s the council’s responsibility to provide somewhere for drifters to go, maybe some of the companies taking your money for drift products should put their profits where their mouth is.
Or the police hold a drifting street racing burnout place in like a shopping centre or like a supermarket car park and bring a couple of police cars you can race against like they did in America on top gear just a thought as prevents better then a cure I mean instead of arresting people and taking the cars and bikes off them open like a legal meet to do stuff like this solves the problem in there minds plus police cars have abit of power so might be something or just stick a remap on them if there out of warranty

We use to do street drifting back in the 80's in mk2 ford escorts, back then there was no CCTV no dash cams in cars, we were out all day and night, Police had mini metro's and rovers.. they could never catch a 2.1 pinto with twin 48's
It's a really cool and purpose built car, but I dont personally see the need for so much power just to do a bit of diffin, let alone on public roads (in broad daylight). I hope he does get the car back, though!

I was admiring the tyre marks on the roundabouts in said undisclosed location the other day and said to myself damn someones had some fun and here it is, i get people shitting themselves in the comments but its his local area these roads arent busy even in peak times he wasn't doing 5 laps of the roundabouts holding up traffic and im pretty sure he could stop that thing quickly enough if said horse jumped out the bushes 😂 keep up the content lads 👊
You clearly don't know the area! This is the roundabouts on the A256, at the back of Discovery Park, these roads are very busy as can be seen in the video. I've worked in Sandwich for over 30 years, we hear this idiot drifting on an almost daily basis! I for one am glad they've taken the car, it was only a matter of time before he killed someone.
Definitely an interesting build, sad to know that the car was confiscated. Hope he gets it back but as a geriatric car enthusiast I have learnt a few things. One of them is that hooning like that attracts attention.... not always the attention that you want.

If you're looking for some action Street drifting (diffing) is very popular in northern Ireland . The saying "if the junctions empty give her plenty" may well have been coined in here. It is pretty common to find donut marks in junctions and on roundabouts as well as big fish tail lines along the roads....the more rural you get the more common it is. Location X is a thing they do here for "diff" meets of an evening.
If you are seriously passionate about racing/drifting, take it to the TRACK. There are no excuse for this behaviour putting people's lives at risk. Regardless of distance from and to a track, don't do what this idiot did. Now his car is impounded and worse case scenario, crushed and loses his licence as well.

Its the 17/18yr old f**k nuggets that think they can drift that are the dangers. I used to do it for a hobby and you need a huge amount of skill and control. Not a fan of doing this on the public roads myself and do agree with a lot of what has already been said in the comments, but if you do want to drift on the roads then doing it on a round about although it does look fairly dramatic is about as safe a way as there is to do it.

If you guess the speed at 20-30 mph that's fine, a young kid or baby in the back of a car being hit side on at 20 mph........no thanks. I for one am glad they took this idiots car, I work on the same estate (Sandwich Industrial Estate), and he is out on an almost a daily basis drifting around very busy roundabouts, we constantly hear his tyres squealing. What worse is he seems to think he drives safely, he clearly doesn't. The quad bike you see in the pictures is also ridiculously loud, and regularly blasted along the roads. He has no consideration for his neighbours, local road users or anyone. Good riddance to that car, and hopefully his license as well. There has not been any local race tracks locally for a very long time, used to be a drag strip at Manston, but that closed decades ago, Lydden Hill is the nearest, that still is going but probably too safe for him, same for Brands Hatch. It's about time he grew up and realised the roads are not his private track, it's only a matter of time before he kills someone.

Big companies and race tracks see this shit and just think we are hooligans hence why hardly any tracks allow drifting and there isn’t really any sponsorship in the sport which stops it from growing. And no I’m not rich, and I couldn’t afford a nice drift car and to be able to go to tracks all the time so I worked really hard and taught my self how to build drift cars as I couldn’t afford it and after about 10 years I’m now in a position to be able to build my own drift car and with loads of sacrifices ie not going on holiday, not having a nice cars as daily’s, not going out drinking etc and I can just about afford it. Motorsport isn’t cheap! if u have a shit job and can’t afford it then that’s no excuse to drift on the road and put innocent people at risk! Go buy an rc car.

It's down to the council to allow people to set up areas so people can do this. Residents and councils kick up a fuss about noise etc. Try and call your council say you want to set up a drift area, see what they say.
Mixed thoughts on this video. Understood regarding the points raised regarding passions etc but drifting rounabouts isn't cool. If you care so much you will travel or you'll build the car to compete.

Definitely an interesting build, sad to know that the car was confiscated. Hope he gets it back but as a geriatric car enthusiast I have learnt a few things. One of them is that hooning like that attracts attention.... not always the attention that you want.
All good and we'll saying youre passionate about driving and blame the tracks for closing but when youve seen a police car and even said you think it's still behind you then continue to send it seconds after then sorry but your part of the problem, use your head in situations like this guys, could've all ended differently for a 5minute restraint until the copper isn't around, we love our cars and nothing beats that thrill but nothing worse than having it taken off you guys!

Was going to be my comment, most 6 pot coupes are between 1450-1550 depending on the configuration. The convertible is obviously a couple hundred kg over that.

If you're looking for some action Street drifting (diffing) is very popular in northern Ireland . The saying "if the junctions empty give her plenty" may well have been coined in here.
It is pretty common to find donut marks in junctions and on roundabouts as well as big fish tail lines along the roads....the more rural you get the more common it is.
Location X is a thing they do here for "diff" meets of an evening.
If you are seriously passionate about racing/drifting, take it to the TRACK. There are no excuse for this behaviour putting people's lives at risk. Regardless of distance from and to a track, don't do what this idiot did. Now his car is impounded and worse case scenario, crushed and loses his licence as well.

Great vid lol those that have done drifting properly before know how much control you need to have to be able to drift smoothly and in control. Its the 17/18yr old f**k nuggets that think they can drift that are the dangers. I used to do it for a hobby and you need a huge amount of skill and control. It can be dangerous if you dont know what youre doing but in the right time and place its not too bad. Id like to know if he got his licence taken off him though or if he got a S59.

We never ask people to drive irrationally, we let them drive like they want to. Warren obviously does this all the time & takes bigger risks than in this video

@@stevenfulcher2569 In fairness he's drifting round a round about in 1st and 2nd gear probably not doing much over 20 30mph not like he's sticking the back end out on a back road. Not a fan of doing this on the public roads myself and do agree with a lot of what has already been said in the comments, but if you do want to drift on the roads then doing it on a round about although it does look fairly dramatic is about as safe a way as there is to do it.
@@damienmc9973 There are other cars on and approaching the roundabout in the video. One is gestured at by the presenter chap. If you guess the speed at 20-30 mph that's fine, a young kid or baby in the back of a car being hit side on at 20 mph........no thanks. I don't see why the guy can't exercise basic restraint like everybody else does.

I for one am glad they took this idiots car, I work on the same estate (Sandwich Industrial Estate), and he is out on an almost a daily basis drifting around very busy roundabouts, we constantly hear his tyres squealing. What worse is he seems to think he drives safely, he clearly doesn't. The quad bike you see in the pictures is also ridiculously loud, and regularly blasted along the roads. He has no consideration for his neighbours, local road users or anyone. Good riddance to that car, and hopefully his license as well. There has not been any local race tracks locally for a very long time, used to be a drag strip at Manston, but that closed decades ago, Lydden Hill is the nearest, that still is going but probably too safe for him, same for Brands Hatch. It's about time he grew up and realised the roads are not his private track, it's only a matter of time before he kills someone.

@@OwainF exactly that mate, my daughter could be riding her bike round the corner, and to be honest 1st gear skids are hardly impressive. Big companies and race tracks see this shit and just think we are hooligans hence why hardly any tracks allow drifting and there isn’t really any sponsorship in the sport which stops it from growing.
And no I’m not rich, and I couldn’t afford a nice drift car and to be able to go to tracks all the time so I worked really hard and taught my self how to build drift cars as I couldn’t afford it and after about 10 years I’m now in a position to be able to build my own drift car and with loads of sacrifices ie not going on holiday, not having a nice cars as daily’s, not going out drinking etc and I can just about afford it. Motorsport isn’t cheap! if u have a shit job and can’t afford it then that’s no excuse to drift on the road and put innocent people at risk! Go buy an rc car.
Some are doing worse things out there, you just got unlucky, it was a drift at a roundabout and not a 150mph drive by which is way more dangerous.

As a " non professional driver " who has lost and got back my license many times I completely understand it's in our DNA to wanna drive fast and wild however as a professional driver as you claim to be, you definitely need to keep that type of driving off the roads. Very irresponsible in my opinion. The untrained drivers doing stupid stuff on the roads way more deserve praised. We the unprofessionals keep it real and stupid as it should be. You the professional should point the direction to a better safe way.
There will be a video coming up of now how he has changed his life and gone legit and opened a drift school to get people of the roads

It's down to the council to allow people to set up areas so people can do this. Residents and councils kick up a fuss about noise etc. Try and call your council say you want to set up a drift area, see what they say.
