- There are so many iconic enemies in Mario games so why not make custom boss versions of them? In this video we give enemies boss abilities, change how they look, and give them unique battle arenas.

Mario Odyssey is a popular 3D platformer game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch console. In this game, Mario embarks on an epic adventure through various kingdoms, using his trusty hat, Cappy, to possess enemies and objects to gain new abilities.
One of the unique features of Mario Odyssey is the ability to collect and use different costumes that have their own unique abilities. These costumes can be obtained by purchasing them from in-game shops or by finding them hidden throughout the various kingdoms.
Some of the costumes in Mario Odyssey include a pirate outfit, a cowboy outfit, and even a wedding dress. Each of these costumes has its own unique set of abilities.
The costumes not only add a fun and unique aspect to the game, but they also play an important role in progressing through the game. Some obstacles and challenges can only be overcome by using specific costumes, encouraging players to experiment and collect as many costumes as possible.
Overall, Mario Odyssey is a fantastic game that combines classic platformer gameplay with innovative mechanics such as possessing enemies and using costumes with unique abilities.

It is not easy to code actual new bosses, this is pretty cool
He is only using reskined versions of already existing enemys pussels are the only way to make them hard enough to be a boss
At least its really challenging for a no damage run.
Fun Fact: Almost every Mario enemy has a boss version in some game. Heck, there's even King Bill. But your bosses were awesome, especially the fuzzy one.

@@jediapc226 Well I mean, true I guess. Not a boss in the traditional or technical sense that you must defeat to beat a level but he's like one; a giant version of a bullet bill. Yeah, it would be cool if that was a boss and you need to make it run into the cannon enough times and then they both break. There is another example of a 'boss' version of an enemy that isn't actually a boss battle--Boss Bass which is someone from Super Mario Bros. 3 who swallows you whole and can be defeated by something like a tail-whack but will keep popping back up again and chases you through the level. Boss Bass is also in Super Mario 64 and is just staying in one spot but will swallow you if you get too close. There is also a giant eel or some other big fish in a New Super Mario Bros. game too, I think.

Yeah, was an enemy in Super Mario 64 DS. Based on a Goomba King enemy from Paper Mario.

The name Goomboss is unfortunately taken by their king, who appears in Paper Mario and Mario 64 DS.
0:15 Actually, Goomboss DOES already exist in the Mario universe, as a boss in Super Mario 64 DS. He bears striking resemblance with Goomba King from Paper Mario, so they might be the same character.🤔
Fun fact, I actually had this idea before Super Mario Maker 2 came out for something known as the 'Boss Crown' - an item given to enemies to allow you to slightly change the appearance (Like making Goombas spikey or give a charge attack)

@@sahilhossain8204 It would just fall off them. They already had Boss Status - If anything, it would allow you to maybe add some of their old gimmicks like with Koopalings. Something like Iggy riding a chain chomp from New Super Mario Bros. Wii or something.

I don't wanna sound like the other guy but I haven't watched Arrowstotle videos in a while and I am glad your still going strong man.
Mario maker 2 bosses ideas, if I get 10 likes, you have to do them
The fuzzie turrent was just a retextured tank. Still pretty cool though.
Goombos could also have the ability to shoot his spikes of his body and respawn them. And when Goombos has no physical props on his body and is knocked unconscious, that could maybe lead you the chance to control Goombos and use him to damage Goomboses body. And when Goombos respawns his spikes you will have to quickly return to your normal form. But if you don't, you will take damage.
So you more or less took the NSMB DS approach of "what if we took a regular enemie and made them a bit more deadly" to bosses? Good idea, I hope Nintendo starts doing this.

My favorites are the Inferno Bro, Shadow Chuck, and the Commander. They arr great upgrades to theit normal counterparts while having unique gimmicks

Ranking all these bosses by difficulty. Easiest to Hardest.
9 = Easiest 1 = Hardest
9. (Gompunk) Honestly it looks very easy to learn and yeah the little goombas could be very annoying but it doesn't look that bad.
8. (Inferno Bro) The water would be hard to not fully use but besides that it seems not that hard you just gotta wait for Inferno.
2. (Shadow Chuck) The clones would be annoying but all you gotta do is get the statue power up. But dodging all that would be difficult.
7. (Royal Chomp) The chain chomps can really get in the way and can mess you up if the ground underneath you crumbles but the coins help a ton.
3. (Fuzzy Turret) The fuzzies can get in the way the map is small so falling off is easy and the fuzzies being shot out are very fast so yeah this one would be mildly difficult. The blocks and flower helps a lot though and also it could be difficult to actually hit the boss sometimes lol.
6. (Undead Spiny) I like this boss a ton btw. But yeah this one could be frustrating if you do not know what to do and all them mummies sheesh. Also it would probably take a while until you realize the switch is behind the wall.
5. (Hammer Commander) Since the boss is so fast and the speed of the hammers could get intense and the fact that it can get away quick yeah it would be tough. Also the timing aspect. Also the hammer blocks could be hard to deal with.
4. (Piranha Hydra) You don't have Cappy first of all. The timing with the stone could be hard to do also the jumping. The map is easy to fall off of. Also the other piranhas could get aggressive quickly. Also the stress as the waves get higher and higher overtime.
1. (Wildfire Bubble) The intensity as the lava rises quickly and the fact that you have to use FLUD perfectly can definitely be difficult to do. Also the rock smash cylinders could get annoying fast XD. It's more of a parkour challenge than a boss though.
This list could seem ridiculous but it's my opinion m'kay lol.
Goomboss is already a character, But he’s called Goomba king in Paper mario, so I can see how that could be confusing.
With piranaplan you should make it that each head can spit poison to different distances and when you get closer they spit 3 poison balls at the time

You know?, I think that goomboss would be better if he three spikes out of his head and this spikes turned into goombas, also for the piranha plant I would make bigger piranha, but after the first hit, it picks itself out of the ground and chases mario using its roots as legs. Also for king chomp, what about a king of chomps, like the king of rats, several chomps with their chains tangled together, moving erratically and the only way to defeat them is to untangle the chains.

I have an idea for help to upgrade the goomba : first things first make his hitbox much smaller make the spiky hit box bigger than his own hitbox now let him shoot capy back at Mario and then Cappy starts trying to fight against the red plumber but that's not all I have add an invisible hammer bro stacked on top of that goomba put the spiky hitch box around both of the enemies and then you're good to go the only way to beat him is to capture the Hammer bro and then shoot a hammer back at the Goomba and Donnie aim of that upgrade the Goomba should be I don't know hammer goomba I did not have any a good ideas sorry
