- I already have a few videos with Metallica clean riffs. I even have "All Metallica clean riffs" video. And I have top 10 Metallica clean riffs but I made it a long time ago and now I decided to make a new one, so this is my own top 10 Metallica clean riffs. Not acoustic but clean guitar riffs. That's why you can't find Fade To Black here but next time I'll make acoustic riffs. So stay tuned my friends. And sorry for the short version of "The Call of Ktulu". Thanks to TH-cam for that.

To Live is To Die is so emotional. That's why I love it.
that and the finger style section (the riff in the video) represents the bargaining stage. Sadly the fact that this song's about the 5 stages of grief, goes over most people's heads.

@@goldorder6657 - Most people on TH-cam will combine the “rhythm” and acoustic harmony and it sounds bad. Or they’ll play the rhythm part entirely wrong.

It's originally played on acoustic guitar, so it ain't a clean riff(technically)

@@magdachlebicka3895 nothing else matters was played mainly with electric guitars(including the intro), the only parts which had overdubs of acoustics and 12 string guitars were the chords played during the chorus (never cared for what they do.. Etc etc).

This kind of stuff is what made Metallica a great metal band, they were able to mix in some great clean guitars and sound great doing it. My favorite from them is Welcome Home, I could listen to that clean bit all day long and Master of Puppets was fantastic too.

That's how Metallica plays it live in E flat and Their songs in D standard like the thing that should not be are played in Drop C live.

@@8tonystark8 yeah I the same problems I have an passive Bass I was trying to play along to Peace Sells by Megadeth then I found out David Ellefson played an active Bass no wonder I couldn't get this distinctive tone because I don't have the right equipment.

Though the list could be a lot longer, I would have at least included fade to black, unforgiven, the acoustic intro and outro from to live is to die and definitely the middle bit of orion. But then again, this video could have easily been half an hour long...
