You should watch Rob Scallon’s Metallica video, the transitions are even more smoother
*Didn't see the title*
Me: Lots of metallica riffs in here...
i thought it was metal riffs 🤣
When you can play blackened effortlessly you're officially a master of following things:
1. down picking
2. odd time signatures
3. switching strings
4. palm mutes
Skipping strings*
triplets over 2 strings
I don't know how, but I can downpick blackened but I can't play creeping death...
@@mateogorse creeping death is 205 bpm while blackened is like 190 so maybe thats why
@Lohi Kala for me creeping death rythm part is easier than Master of Puppets xD

Roméo Figueroa what songs do you like of there’s that is bluesy ??
Ellis Delk
Essentially everything the Load/Reload era has some sort of blues influence to it that’s very visible. So, there are a lot of blues-inspired songs.

IDGAF. This is incredible. I've been playing Metallica covers for over 30 years and let me tell you that is no small feat to cover them. This dude's a badass
What do you not give a fuck about
That was one of the best versions of the solo to One. People get that wrong so many times. Very cool.
Jubei Kibagami Pretty damn accurate indeed
There's no such a thing as playing wrong in music. Just played differently ;)
+Juan Correa Yes ! If it's played wrong,it is not music.
Donnie Brasco Most genres were made thanks to someone playing something "wrong". Jazz is music played "wrong" but sounding good. Wrongness has no place in music. "But if you don't play it like the original, isn't that considered wrong?" NO! Just because you're not playing it just like the original doesn't mean it's played wrong, just different. If one really thinks that way, then all covers AND I MEAN ALL COVERS are wrong.
+Donnie Brasco Exactly! Definitely a right and wrong way.
Leonardo Bonucci took a break from playing for Juventus and made a Metallica video
Sean Dunn 😂😂😂😂😂😂
A very nice joke man!
Sean Dunn oh my god he does!!!!
In my country the people will say: c mamó
😂😂😂
The seamless transitions between songs was so satisfying.
Does anyone else think the interlude/bridge riff to Leper Messiah kicks major ass and is criminally underrated?
Sean Flynn That song is quite underrated. And that riff is one of my favourite Metallica bridges along with the one in Frayed Ends of Sanity.
Leper Messiah has the best chord progression in the middle section
One of my favourites from Metallica.
Yes, I was quite surprised when Leper Messiah and Orion didn't show up
Douglas Quaid
honestly. leper is probably in my top five
Who the hell is this guy and why does he not have a band?!? Dude you're a true shredder !! Don't let anyone tell you different and keep up the thrashin bro!!!! ☠️💀☠️

Leper Messiah should be included. It's the definition of a riff
It has one of my favorite riffs.
Call of Ktulu also. One of the times where Cliff Burton became the lead
I agree completely. It has a nice, behind the beat lurch to it like Walk (Pantera) that is hard not to nod to
.
Smooth af transition from “Unforgiven II” to “Unforgiven I”

Yes, only by about a few months.

that guy's pretty awesome, he also kind of reminded me just how great Metallica's songs are, i mean i've been listening to quiet a few of their songs again recently so i'm aware of how great they are to an extent but this just helped to clarify my own thoughts that Metallica is fucking awesome!!! i don't think they have one really bad song, they're the KING OF METAL! in my opinion :-)
Metallica has some incredible riffs
+The Sharingan He's got better tones than what Metallica uses today
emm i dunno about that now but he certainly is talented regardless, but hey to each their own.
They're pretty good for sure. I just think this guy's tone has more crunch to the sound
Yeah maybe
Welcome Home was the song that made me fall in love with metal. I still remember hearing it for the first time on my afternoon run. Holy shit that followed by Disposable Heroes, Leper Messiah, and Orion was like losing my virginity all over again.
With the bridge of Welcome home sanitarium I had an orgasm
Dude especially the drums towards the end like uhhhhhhggggg I love it
Honestly, I love the snare in St. Anger. Because it’s really unique and fans (including me) wouldn’t want their favorite band to end. People will have to start liking the snare like I did. After listening to it a lot, I love it now. Hard-wired... To Self Destruct is kick ass too. If you don’t like St. Anger, don’t listen to it.
St anger is my favourite album, honestly you either like the snare or not. And I love it
It's an amazing album. I guess its just become cool to hate it. People don't want to give it a chance.
@@alihazeem6972 I love the snare and the album
@@bigbywolf2677 true that

I wonder why no one includes the opening riff of One. I always consider it the main riff since it's what opens the song.
@nugs_not_drugs06 it’s the riff for the first half of the song too just a little different but the same theme

His snare is shit and ruins many songs
His transitions in every video are flawless, its almost like the songs were made to fit together that perfectly.

Lots of respect for you from another metallica Fan. \m/
You don't use internet very often, do you?
You cut the For Whom The Bell Tolls riff just when you were getting to the best part
Gabriel Lima Exactly
No the best part is when it scales down in the solo
5:45 that transition into enter sandman is GOAT
I appreciate that The Thing That Should Not Be came right after a song on St Anger.
St. Anger probably should be though, it's Metallica's therapy album.
it's fine with regular drums
get over it. if you dont like St Anger, dont listen to it. its honestly that simple smh
ever notice that the song "One" was played the longest?
The bridge to solo was played wrong
Yes and thats a good thing 👍
I like to imagine that he couldn't help but play the solo as well since the darkness riff is right before it.
Well it is One
One does not simply stop playing the One solo halfway through
4:06 The Thing That Should Not Be’s riff will always be one of my top favorites 🤘🏻🔥

The switch from through the never to creeping death was sooo clean
Escape is one of my favourite songs, and one of metallica's rarest songs ... good work
I think he means it's not well known and that Metallica never play it live
+PsVita Warrior I agree escape and trapped under ice (in my opinion) are very underrated
Yeah, and they put Frayed Ends and Through The Never!
SWEET AMBER! lol underrated asf
Leper messiah!!
Everything changed with the Black Album. It brought this genre of metal to the mainstream. For me, CD's with the accompanying Tab books accelerated my learning curve 1000% . To this day I still love a good metal riff. These days with TH-cam, Truefire, Songster etc. learning your favourite guitar styles is pie in the sky as they say...
You made St. Anger songs actually sound good…impressive
This compilation is a masterpiece in and of itself with your brilliant structuring from one song into the next as if the whole video was one giant song.
Love how you included disposable heroes one of the best Metallica songs of all time
Squeeps57 not necessarily the best, just the greatest riffs. But I agree, DH is one of their best.

@@darksector_0675 I agree that most Metallica riffs are pretty easy but you can't tell me playing a song like Cliffs Of Dover is super easy for a beginner.
@@Nukey717 I didn't say it was.
Metallica has great riffs that are possible to play on the guitar. Megadeth has amazing riffs, but they’re so difficult to play.
Megadeth cool, but wannabe Metallica's
Megadeth riffs are made harder than most Metallica riffs on purpose. Dave thinks that he gets appreciation when he just rushes and makes as hard riffs as he can.
Metallica riffs are way better sounding (I still like Hangar 18, Tornado of Souls etc. don't get me wrong) and more better produced.
Still both great bands in their own ways, I just sometimes think that only thing Dave Mustaine wants is to beat Metallica, not to make music he likes.
@@wildersound Dave Mustaine creates difficult and fast riffs so that Metallica couldn't play them and therefore steal and include them in their own albums

The solo in “One” was sick. 🤘🏼My personal favorite
This kinda opened my eyes, I only started deeply listening to Metallica for about a year and a half, only really listening if my dad played it in the car or on the radio and holy crap did I not realize how old Metallica really is! Like I thought they were an early 90s band but seeing their albums in ‘88 and ‘86 blew my mind!
Lmao, they formed in '81.
I love how you move from one song to the next, it sounds like its just meant to be. Brilliant work again dude.
I loved the transition between Nothing Else Matters and Escape, sublime decision.
The God That Failed is Metallica’s most underrated song, IMO.
Include disposable heros in that list
