To an extent though... the race of entire culture can change and the culture can remain the same as long as that culture doesn't emphasized the color of said skin.
For example a culture that emphasize on hard work , education and making fun of retards will never change just because the race is different.
Or the culture can just learn/evolve to realized that focusing on the color of one skin is highly absurd.

Like how Chinese people seem to speak Mandarin, but it's just because of where they born. Do you believe people are born with the language they're going to speak? Nope. If a Chinese baby is born in America, they will speak English. It's all culture.

    • @MrJovon321

True, and a large part of that problem consists of our internal racial indoctrination. I hope we can come out the end of the madness as a decent ethnic group. The racial propaganda is steady and strong, though. The problem with "racial" identity, with any group who subscribes to it, is that it is often more reactive than reflective. It encourages an ideology that says, "My condition is immediately related to my natural state," not one that emphasizes the approach of "I can develop a culture and discipline to condition the way I behave." We must change that and empower our sense of ethnic history/value/direction, and then we can gain a better sense of self-control and structure within our own ethnic families/communities.
Full-on individualism is not the best answer either. A dose of healthy collectivism is what's needed to see significant change when it concerns African American people. The foundation of African American ethnic identity is shattered and chaotic.

Yes, I agree with you there. Though I'm a politically a moderate, I feel Modi's the best leader we currently have, and considering his vision and the effort he's put in for over 4 years now, he deserves another term. But in the long term, I feel having a solid and well functioning opposition is critical to keeping the incumbents in check.

Listen. India is a secular democracy only because hindus are a majority. Muslims are unwanted and anti democratic everywhere. Hindus only defend , muslims offend , and this is universal

Made whites so wealthy that they had money to leave their children for generations. Yet when Abraham release them. No compensation or land. Many left hungry having to do crime to survive like steal food etc. Then the whites didn’t won’t them getting their jobs. Many got lock up so they can still do free labor and the cycle goes on.

If that were the case, then there would be no reason to accept immigrants. When somebody immigrates here they go through naturalization. uscis.gov lists the requirements for naturalization, including: "Reside continuously within the United States from the date of application for naturalization up to the time of naturalization"
"Be able to read, write, and speak English and have knowledge and an understanding of U.S. history and government (civics)."
"Be a person of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the United States during all relevant periods under the law"
My ancestors that moved to the US weren't around at the time of the signing, but for over four generations, myself included, my family has been Pennsylvania born and bred. Last I checked there was no class system, written in law or otherwise, that checks to see if your ancestors were on the continent 240+ years ago.

The confederate flag/history is and has been significant for my family cause we have old writings and Journals from that era, Its not the Marvel comic book version of the mainstream rhetoric.

It is not only true in the US but in most European States too.
In the UK (my country) our parliament is made up of mostly white people, but there are more white people in social housing and poverty than other ethnic groups. We have only a small number of MPs of Indian Descent in Parliament yet the Indians are doing far better than any other ethnic group in the UK, it has nothing to do with who's in power, it's all to do with individuals willing to work hard to achieve. Welfare keeps people in poverty because many on benefits lack the ability to save and spend money accordingly, in short; they suck with money.
I've been on welfare, got Job seeker's allowance and almost everyone going there for benefits wore new branded clothing, smartphones and even cars so if these people are in desperate need to live, where did all the luxurious stuff come from? I still get DLA (due to having Autism, an unfortunate circumstances for me) but I will never go to the job centre for more benefits because it's unfair on hard working taxpayers to pay double on me. I will admit I suck with money, I am trying to correct that mistake and push myself to get a job, I will not rob the people of my country by sitting around doing nothing.

I not yet seen one person come out of welfare/benefits to become self reliant on their income and moved up to the middle or upper class.
I laugh that some people say I'm a traitor to the poor class because I stand for self responsibility, tough love and not caring about others before myself.
To be a traitor or to be betrayed requires loyalty. I am loyal to nobody and nothing, loyalty doesn't make you free or successful, it makes you blind and stupid.

I've been saying this since I first started observing the American society: all of us need to forget race. And the keywords there are _all of us_ . As long as there are different cultures there will be different percentages of fathers in the household, different levels of emphasis put on academics, and different levels of economic success. We all have a subtle but real reluctance to go outside our racial comfort zone. And now that I have properly identified the problem, this comment ends, because I have no idea how to make us dismiss race from our thinking. It is too firmly entrenched.

    • @MrJimMajor

Heather, the video is about the single reality that electing black into political office does not seem to improve the black condition in America. You've gone a level or two beyond that. +Joe Vasicek If you mean "judge each other" in the widest possible sense, then yes, I agree. That is essentially what I said. Judging each other open-mindedly and without race in mind for the music we listen to, when choosing friends, where we work, romantic partners, etc. And when it comes to those requiring to judge without concern for skin color, that includes Asians, white people and black people. There's the answer. Now, how can that mindset ever be adequately implimented?

I do not think there is any realistic solution to the racial problems that exist in America, problems that to one degree or another exist in other modern countries too. The middle of the video...where he talks about during the 40s, 50s 60s Jim Crow laws....blacks were actually closing the gap at a rapid pace in education, jobs and income. The the War On Poverty was brought about to keep the blacks more dependent since LBJ and Dems didn't like them becoming more independent. Thomas Sowell wrote about this in a book years ago. It's the same approach Dems use....when things are improving and becoming a non-issue, create a crisis and then bring about laws to push the leftist agenda. Happens all the time. The "rape culture" rhetoric came about when rapes were at all time lows. Now....the Never Again movement with gun laws when gun murders have been in decline since the 90s. Same leftist approach for decades.

JennPipp TH-cam is owned by Google, a company that shamed a man and fired him for writing a cited, well researched article on the biological differences between men and women. At least straight, unaltered men and women. My point is, Google is a borderline Marxist company that is lying to the whole world, making us think they are the progressive good guys. Meanwhile, they censor conservative opinion and reach into all of our pockets. So that is why this isn’t on trending; it triggers Google’s diversity leader or whatever she calls herself and it triggers advertisers. And that’s all google needs to know. I can’t wait until people see these companies like Google for what they really are; fiscally hyper-conservatives that want everyone else’s money to be taken, while they sit back on top in Silicon Valley, swimming in their influence and cash. Dismantling this country’s law little by little. Like gods.

Male female, black white, ugly pretty, these traits do not matter. What matters is if the person can think critically and be a decent human being. Women shouldn't be denied political representation for being women, but they most certainly shouldn't be given representation for being women, either. Making a political focus on being "the first black this", or "the first woman that" is very foolish and just shows that person has nothing substantial to offer in the real world.

The notion that blacks in power would empower blacks is predicated on the idea that a guy who "looks like me" will do things to raise me up. By "raise me up" the belief is that I will get things that others have to work for, with no effort on my part. This is built upon the incorrect assumption that white people, as the racial majority in the US, just have things so easy and that a need for personal education, networking, hard work, and initiative are just the new age whip being used by the white man to keep the black man in his place. The only one who can empower you is you.

Welfare has participated in the increase of single motherhood throughout all races but it is at its highest in the black population. Welfare pays more to a single mother with many children than to a married couple with the same amount of children. That encourages those who rely on welfare to not marry and continue to have children out of wedlock. Then we have statistics that show a child who grows up without two loving parents is significantly more likely to become criminals. Welfare needs a dramatic change. I don't want it to go away but it shouldn't reward the broken home because that it is only making things worse.

Even his articles are more substantial than entire books by most of his intellectual opponents. The best the left can do is either ignore him or label him as a "token black conservative".

    • @Gretchaninov
      @Gretchaninov 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@kappadarwin9476 Calling him a "black token conservative" tells us a lot about how shallow you are. You care more about his skin colour and that his conclusions are different from yours than what his reasoning is. It's doubtful you've actually read any of his work or have any intelligent responses as you would have shared them.
That Asians (and Jews) do relatively well (better than whites) despite racism against them is a fact, contradicting the claim that blacks fail due to racism. Even more striking, blacks from some areas do far better than others. For example, blacks in the north often scored better on IQ tests than whites in the south. Blacks from the Caribbean tend to earn more than blacks from sub-Saharan Africa. The myth of "white privilege" is far more pervasive, racist and harmful.

    • @kappadarwin9476

@@Gretchaninov You don't get it. Right wingers use people like this guy to try to push the narrative that it is not racist to believe that Black people are improvished because of their culture. By using a black person to push that narrative they can get away with making racist statements. It is not that difficult to figure out the point of this video.
As for the Asian and Jewish part. They are not doing better than Whites...and Judaism is a religion not an ethnicity this is common knowledge.
The Model minority myth was propaganda made during the Cold War as a means to "clean up" America's negative image with the Asian community because they knew the Soviets would use America's abysmal civil rights record against them in Asia. It was also used to dismiss racism claims the African America community. By saying "The system isn't racist you people aren't working hard enough. Look at the Asians they don't have a problem with it"
It was nothing more than an a racist prop.

    • @Gretchaninov
      @Gretchaninov 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@kappadarwin9476 It is a *fact* that Asian minorities earn more, on the average, than whites in the US. It is also a fact that the same studies which show blacks get turned down for bank loans more often than whites also show that whites are turned down more often than Asians. The point is that *despite* racism against Asians, which clearly exists to some degree, they succeed economically. Hence, the fact that blacks have a lower income does not prove that it's due to racism.
There are other simple factors which can be measured - how much time spent studying each week, credit scores, spending habits, proportion of children born out of wedlock, etc. All of these vary between races and blacks have many internal problems. It isn't because of whites that about 70% of black children are born to unmarried parents. That's compared to about 25% back in 1960. The welfare system is a far more plausible explanation for this phenomenon than a legacy of slavery or modern-day racism. The same issues are found among lower class whites in the US and the UK. Blacks spend more on visible goods - cars, clothes and jewellery - proportionally than most other groups. In polls, every group agrees that blacks are the most racist, on average, including blacks themselves.
Although Judaism is a religion, it has historically been aligned and associated with certain ethnic groups - some people are ethnically Jewish, even if they aren't religious.
You're yet another person who refuses to face facts, to actually read Sowell's work and openly consider it or to be able to put together any coherent argument against his actual claims. His race is irrelevant. He looks at Italians, Germans, Jews, blacks, the Irish, Indians, Japanese, Chinese, Latinos and other groups, not just in the US and not just in the 20th century, but all around the world for centuries. His Race and Culture trilogy goes into a huge amount of depth. Unlike leftists, he is not obsessed with only blacks and whites in the US, nor with pushing a narrow agenda. You dismiss him because you dislike his views, not because you have any rational argument against them (or even familiarity with his actual reasoning).

    • @kappadarwin9476
      @kappadarwin9476 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@Gretchaninov Asian Americans do not earn more on average than White Americans. That is another lie propagated by the Model Minority myth.
The reason why Black families are often torn a part is because of racist policies that were forced upon them. If you were black back in the 60s and prior you were often denied getting a loan and you were unable to buy a house in White neighborhoods there were deeds on these suburban homes that forbid resell to black buyers.
Black people were also cut out of the GI bill when it was introduced back in WW2 because the Federal government left it up to the States to distribute the bill thus Black soldiers were often left out on building prosperity and passing that wealth on to their children.
There was also redlining which kept Black people living in hastily shoddy built neighborhoods thus making it difficult for them to sell their homes. Yet in the affluent white suburbs which went for a lot of money, home owners would sell their homes and use that money to put their kids through collage, start a business or retire.
Then there is the war on drugs which sole purpose was to destabilize the black community
Judaism is a religion it is not an ethnicity. The reason people back then thought it was a race because it was easier for governments and other authorities to discriminate against them by branding Jewish people was outsiders. Jews did not have the same protection as Catholics or Protestants there was not political or economic backlash to targeting them. It was easy to put all of societies ills on a group many considered not a part of their society.

He tells you in the video. The welfare state was passed in 1964. As it took hold, it destroyed opportunities for blacks and wrecked their family units.

The welfare state on its own could not destroy black family, its not like black people are the only group taking welfare either, so I think the problem must be something else more specific to the black community

LightMonk TwentyOne the other families of non-blacks collapsed as well when the welfare state was introduced, not just blacks.

+LightMonk When you offer poor women a check for every child they have but make not living with the children's father a condition of receiving those checks, you very quickly destroy families. You're right that it didn't happen only to blacks but since the majority of blacks at the time were poor, a greater percentage of them were affected.

Probably the fact that blacks were five times more likely to be incarcerated at that time. So it might have to do with that along with the “welfare state” and the fact that soon after that you had the war on drugs in the 70’s which made the prison terms harsher this keeping the incarcerated person away from their family longer if not forever which caused many women to become single mothers and be on welfare so they could support their children. All while people are huffing lead based air from gasoline and eating lead paint chips which caused people to be more violent around that time and led to more incarceration’s and blah blah blah years go by people die or fight in prison and stay longer or never leave and a generation of kids from mostly poor backgrounds are now grown up and in the world they aren’t fully prepared for so they make mistakes they don’t need to and their kids have to grow up the same way they did blah blah blah things happen lots of killing and death and racist stuff blah blah and boom. Crappy education mixed with bad incentives plus wrecked homes and a dash of pent up racism and you’ve got your answer. Enjoy

I think this would be a wonderful opportunity to pause for a moment and give thanks for the great contributions of the Black community to our society. Their peaceful and generous nature make them ideal neighbors, lending testimony to their exceptional family values and parenting skills unrivaled by any other culture. Their commitment to academic excellence enriches our schools and serves as an example to all who hope to achieve prominence as a people. Real estate values are fueled by the mix of African Americans into an area due to their caring and respectful nature of these communities, an example of all they have achieved through their enthusiasm for self- improvement by hard work and a self-reliant can-do nature. Without their industrious and creative drive, we would be poorer as a nation.

Politics is only one part of the equation. It is silly to assume that electing black politicians for the past forty-two years would cancel out a century of social and economic injustice.

Hey guys if you have watched a Movie called "The Red Pill" it talks about how males how made these same mistakes. It talks about how nearly everything the government can control is for the good of women despite being mostly male controlled. The movie was made by a feminist and it is one of my favorite movies of all time, you can find it online for free, and it's only about an hour and a half long but it opened my eyes so much.

Now I’m all for it being painfully true. It’s just I don’t understand the point. I mean why do I want to know this? Sure, maybe black haven’t had such a very large growth despite black legislators but it’s almost like they are telling us not to vote for black politicians because of this. Its not like Obama was a terrible president and the same goes for these other legislators. Now I don’t want to assume, but this just seems like another one of PragerU videos where the meaning is irrelevant and the politics is key. We all know PragerU is against the left and seeing as most black politicians are left leaning, I’m pretty sure that is the reason they made this video.

Just do not vote for black politicians for the sake of them being black.
Use their successes to inspire you to strive further but always remember that in the end, you speak for yourself and not your whole race-and vice versa.
