@@JelloApocalypse yup. Rowan is the woman from "Double Trouble" at 14:48 and she and her twin brother Will are main characters in the new set.
What makes it funny is, every Planeswalker has a single Spark, which is what makes them a Planeswalker. Will and Rowan SHARE a Spark, so wherever one goes, the other is FORCED to follow.
Unfortunately for Will, this means he has to follow Rowan when she goes

Her father, a king, got charmed into having a witch mistress, who had will and rowan as kids and then sacrificed them only for the holy grail to resurrect them and link their souls. I knew it, this isn't Magic, it was Yugioh the whole time.
As an avid Magic player with about 20 years of experience in the game, I only noticed one or two small issues in the game play. You can't play a Comment Section two turns in a row as it takes some time between the initial video and apology video. Also, whenever Bluebloods switch sides, the person who takes control of them draws a card.
Otherwise, gameplay was flawless. Will timed his play of This! very well, which made Jello's Obelisk play even better. This does also show the absolute dominance of the Polyamory meta.
actually, Will also forgot to give Jello Obelisk when he gave over the Necromansion, even though Obelisk is the Necromansion
I think they might not know they can mulligan either.
I believe Obelisk needed continue feeding a few turns after consuming This! within Mean Tweet, meaning that both sides would have had to sacrifice individuals from the twin couples, which iirc results in disadvantage on all subsequent roles as long as one member of the family is present on either side.
it's just a balance issue in my book, there is such freeform to landings in the game up to this point, the polyamory combo is so dominating but mysterious mistress is just a nasty hard counter. Since the hard reset for the avionics boost meta and the removal of jetfuel burn there was so much potential for nonconventional landings but wizards took it in a weird direction pressing the teammate relationship angle. Excited for their upcoming nautical crossover tho.
Well, other than the fact that *a Plane shouldn't be able to fly with only one Wing,* there would also be not enough Plane to fit a full Polyamorus Family - Will would've had to either sacrifice half of the Family, turning the remaining Weatherman against his Mistress, or the constant pushing around a cramped (half) Plane would at best, knock it off course, or at worst, make it Crash, causing Will to instantly Lose the Match.

I was able to keep calm for most of the video but " *what pilot* " actually killed me and I was laughing until the video ended.

Will, missing half his plane, with a happy polycule and a Peepy who just barely managed to avoid crashing, versus Jello, who got shot along with his copilot, had all his cards betray, fail him, or be destroyed, and is only in the air by the grace of a computer running the engines.
Tough match.

@@theundeadgentleman4998 It was more like this in season zero & the manga, which were both made before the card game, but YES! Exactly this! There were no actual rules for Duel Monsters in the original series, so the entire game was literally just made up on the fly. It's hysterical, and way too similar to this.
Kaiba: It's over Yugi, I have a monster in the forest ready to attack you directly!
Yugi: Not quite yet Kaiba, for I have an archer on the hill ready to attack your monster!
Kaiba: Did you forget? My monster is in the forest, giving it plenty of cover from your archer!
Yugi: Unfortunately for you, that's not going to work. Because my archer has _fire arrows,_ which burn down the forest around your monster, destroying it! And now, I attack you directly!
Kaiba: What?! Nooooo!
And so on, and so forth. Seriously, if you can find Yu-Gi-Oh season 0, I highly recommend that episode. It's hilarious. And if you like that, considering watching all the other episodes because it's actually really cool and focuses on a bunch of different games, not just Duel Monsters.

Each player has 2000 lifepoints
You Summon one Monster per turn
Neither player can attack directly
If you would end your turn without a Monster on your Field, you must play a Monster from your hand, or you lose
There's only Monsters/Spells(Traps came much later on)
And Tribute Summon was a mechanic invented by Konami
Then Duelist Kingdom came around, with its own rule set. Which introduced field bonuses, and type advantage. Making Duel Monsters function more like an RPG.
This sums up how PLAYING yu-gi-oh felt as a kid too!🤣

This was basically the original idea behind Duel Monsters in the manga. D&D, but a card game.
It's so fun to see multiple people say this in the comments, because i know of one called "aye dark overlord" it is exactly as chaotic as the people playing it

And aside from the dragon being the enemy palace somehow, it all somehow makes sense!
There really needs to be an actual improv card game where the cards are just art, and the rules for the setting and win condition are made up/rolled for and agreed on at the start. Sounds like a good time for a group of friends to fuck around with.
There is one, although I'm not sure if it exists in English called "Oui, Seigneur des Ténèbres!". Basically you take turns playing the evil overlord while other player are goblins sent on a mission which failed. They play cards giving context to their misadventures and have to explain how it's not their fault but rather the one of other goblins to avoid being punished by the evil overlord.
Lots of fun but you need every player to like doing improv and a little roleplaying.

@@Lulink013 There is actually an English version for it, and it's called "Aye, Dark Overlord!" I remember seeing a video about it some years ago with the exact premise of one overlord and his goblins who are putting the blame on each other to not lose.
