i guess Im randomly asking but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot my login password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me!
@Keaton Felipe Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I've been a motorcycle mechanic for over 20 years. Not counting my teenage years just doing what ever i could to keep my stuff running and helping my buddies out. My dad did not teach me anything about wrenching, but was still a great dad teaching me >>>respect, manners, and just being trust-worthy. I was able to be a personal mechanic for a pro motocross racer named Jeff "Chicken" Matiasevich. I got to travel the world to places like Japan, France, Italy, Sweden, Spain and all over the USA. The motorcycle industry is filled with great people that you can build life long relationships with. You as a dad are doing a great job raising your boy. Any guy can be a father.....but it takes a real man to be a DAD! Cheers to you and your boy from Brea California. PS. I also did a little bit of racing back in my younger days ( you tube >>Johnny Bonacci racing at Deanza ) if you want to check out some of my races. My younger Brother Tommy "the Bomber" Bonacci is also a multi time world champion jet ski racer competing on jet skis built by myself. Take care and be safe, you are a inspiring dad.
You need to spot weld the bolt and the plate that has a key slot You need to weld the keyd slot to the plate on the outside or it will jump off. Have a long enough bolt or it will pop off right away. Cool bike!
Awesome video, I started working on engines when I was your age, it will be very handy. Also, you should remove the govener, you'll pick up a lot of power
I some day wish to have a son of my own who I can wrench on things with. Warms my heart to see someone still knows how to parent their child in this upside down world
Ummm whack it off? You dirty girl. lol but yes sometimes you have to mod parts to make them fit. Just make sure you dont cut areas of interest like the pulley or mounting area. Any access metal can come off though but make sure its not excessive so you dont ruin the structure of the part. Stay naughty ;)
How you gonna cut the TAV 30 but not the edge of the heat shield so you can retain proper cooling? I love the stock look and engine because it's way more reliable, quite and you can use your extended warranty. For that power and use that setup is awesome, I would suggest trimming the exhaust side of that shield to fit it without removing the TAV 30. The one or two dinky bolts that are shroud side will hold it fine. I just had to do my Hisun 196 that way because of the fit. It can be done right on the bike. It also protects larger debris from entering the backside of your flywheel and damaging the fan that couldn't otherwise come through the pull start vents.
just a quick bit of information because I've seen people doing this sometimes. when they say break in period it does mean you need to set the motor on the ground and let it idle for three hours. It just means that it takes about three hours of running to wear in the internal metal parts and to get properly lubricated. You can just install the engine and take it easy on it for the first few times riding it.
Jay V Hello Jay Old motor still works but carb is having issues. it was time to swap it for new one. Also, It was done for the TH-cam viewers who maybe have a frame but not sure how to fix up their bike. There is nothing to it really. Appreciate your comment and thanks for watching.
+DanielB4life 8 year old.. casually saying "lets get rid of the factory oil and replace with new oil" then proceeds to do a better oil change job then Walmart and Jiffy Lube could do on a car combined... IS PRETTY IMPRESSIVE
New engine comes with cheap oil and sometimes there is some metal flakes that settle to the bottom. Cant go wrong with fresh oil. Thanks for watching and commenting on my video.
how does the buggy in the background run with the predator on it? is it clutch or torq converter? and how does it run with either? thanks for answering in advance.ben
Very good video however what you removed from the engine is not a heat shield what that pice of metal does is direct the air from the fan through the cooling fins on the engine to keep it cool and by removing that pice of metal you have now hindered that engine from cooling properly
MurrayAndMates Bike I'm working on is a baja or also known as heat but if you are talking about another bike in the background than that's a HAWG TY. here's a link to that build th-cam.com/video/xrN87yro5sI/w-d-xo.html
Would you be able to tell me the screw size & pitch from the torque converter cover bolts. I've lost mine & need to replace them. Thanks Good video BTW ! Cheers
DanielB4life No Problem, Thanks for replying. I found some that are hex head, 6 mm, Not sure the pitch either but hey work, so I'm good . Have a good one & Thanks again ! Cheers
We used 3 cover bolts. Bottom bolt is near the driver pulley. The cover does not vibrate at all because these three bolts hold it firmly in place. Also, the bottom part of the cover near the driven pulley is flush with the frame which helps it stay secure in place.
DanielB4life thanks daniel. it makes sence. i believe i am going to make a custom aluminum cover because of my tight space. i want my cover to be super tight. the whole doodlebug is being restored. YOU VIDEO WAS COOL! THANKS.
aluminum cover would definitely be more sturdier than this plastic cover. would love to see your final outcome of your bike. Good luck with your project.
but you would need a billet rod and a billet flywheel because the rod can get destroyed by the high rpmsand the plastic flywheel can also get destroyed by the high rpms
You can find them on eBay or Amazon and web sites like OMBwarehouse.com. Type in 30 series comet torque converter 3/4 shaft and I'm sure you'll get lots of results. Good luck with your project.
Azmar Blye You can find it here www.ebay.com/itm/New-30-Series-asymmetrical-Torque-Converter-Belt-For-Mini-Bike-Go-Kart-/161571839554?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item259e6e9e42
Chuckie G's Mopar Garage. If you are trying to put a torque converter on a predator engine it should be pretty easy. If you are putting it on an original Baja engine then it will be a little harder because nothing will line up. You would have to either put spacers or remove spacers.
Yes, I don't mean it as copying. I just meant he would probably like their channel as they have the same interests. So I was just passing him on to the channel in case he hadn't heard of it.
Hello. I have a question. I'm trying to do the save thing. However I hope to just switch out the engine. I have the same mini bike - not the warrior kind and I'm currently stuck on how to get the clutch off. Here it looks as though it come right off with the clutch on but I cant reach bolt with it on so I was wondering how to get the clutch wheel off. Different modals require different steps - one enven a wheel remover.
If your clutch has a cover on it then take the cover off. You can also roll the back tire until you can see the master link and take that off. Then remove the chain shutoff wire and throttle and the engine can come off without removing the clutch
+Donovan Jones I had to buy a longer bolt for it. My bolt is two and a half inches long and if you need to than add some washers if it turns out too long. What happens when your bolt starts slipping does your driver pulley falls off?
+DanielB4life. I used the 2 n a half bolt and it was way to long. Which part did you add washers to. and yes when the bolt comes out the driver pully falls off
@DanielB4life, just installed the comet torque a verter , and i cant start her with out having her propped up! how do i get ger to idle with the wheel not moving?
well it turns out that where the "sleeve goes on, it was twisted from where it is suppose to "seat" (you know what i mean the top and button slots where its not 100% round), i put it back on and now it runs like it should! thank you very much!
The Harbor freight predator 212cc (6.5Hp) engines will reach about 20-30 mph depending on weight of person and frame. Awesome video, I started working on engines when I was your age, it will be very handy. Also, you should remove the govener, you'll pick up a lot of power
moe ridesKTM I'll look into it and maybe remove the governor in the near future. Thanks for watching

This Boy has it all together!
You know your stuff buddy im trying to rebuild a mini bike for my son just purchased the predator motor.
Good job buddy. 🤙🏻
nice kid...compliments...
Smart young man,...fantastic !!
good to see you working this way
Great video. I've been trying to figure out how to solve the torque converter/frame issue. I never even thought to whack it off. Thanks!
Ummm whack it off? You dirty girl.

Lol he probably knows more than you do though.

Dan lookin at u now

Did you have to purchase a longer chain or was the original chain long enough?

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo smart he is

I wish I had you as a dad! I'm stuck with one toy :( Lol
Need to rewatch this video. 1 question first. Witch is Danial? Dad or son. If dad your boy needs his own channel. He has great possibillities.
Hello, nice job on the video, can you tell me what size chain? it looks biger than a # 35, maybe 42. thanks
It looked like a 420 chain to me.
This kids a badass he just picked up that engine lol fucking right
Is It A Good Idea To Shoot This ? What
would you be able to provide plans for that buggy, or as to where you got them from? thanks
What did you use to cut the torque converter?
Hello Kyle
We used hand grinder with cut off wheel for metal. Much faster than using a saw 'cause aluminum is pain in the butt to cut.
does the headlight work though? what powers it?
what was the minibike that you added the predator to?
MurrayAndMates Bike I'm working on is a baja or also known as heat but if you are talking about another bike in the background than that's a HAWG TY. here's a link to that build th-cam.com/video/xrN87yro5sI/w-d-xo.html
Would you be able to tell me the screw size & pitch from the torque converter cover bolts. I've lost mine & need to replace them. Thanks

Not sure what type of pitch and size but i think its metric and size 8 ranch. Sorry that i couldn't help.
DanielB4life No Problem, Thanks for replying. I found some that are hex head, 6 mm, Not sure the pitch either but hey work, so I'm good . Have a good one & Thanks again ! Cheers
what is belt size and width?
So is it basically a CVT?
loved it
Smart kid!
hi, I also fitted the same kit, when I walk 2 km I touch the belt and it overheats why?? yours is the same i.e. does it overheat??? or is it normal??
DID YOU JUST USE THE TOP 2 COVER BOLTS AND DOES IT VIBRATE SINCE YOU ONLY HAVE 2 COVER BOLTS. THANKS.
We used 3 cover bolts. Bottom bolt is near the driver pulley. The cover does not vibrate at all because these three bolts hold it firmly in place. Also, the bottom part of the cover near the driven pulley is flush with the frame which helps it stay secure in place.

Did you have to cut the engine tc plate to fit the bike?
CaptHwdy08 Yeah we did.
ok that's what i thought i got one and i seen were i might have to cut it or widen out the mounting whole's i've seen that done also
So how much did the torque converter cost
The Beach Whale they cost like $50 on eBay
I wonder how old he is now
نورت
So you actually dont need 1" risers to fit the TAV2 mounting plate
LOL YEA LIL DUDE GET IT
✌😎
If you remove the engine governor it should add tons of power!
but you would need a billet rod and a billet flywheel because the rod can get destroyed by the high rpmsand the plastic flywheel can also get destroyed by the high rpms
Hey where did you buy one of those bikes??
+FlashGrindz We bought the frame from Craigslist and we got the parts from eBay, like the torque converter. We also got the motor from Harbor Freight.
DanielB4life how much did all of it cost?
Hey i am having trouble finding that torque converter where did you buy it?
You can find them on eBay or Amazon and web sites like OMBwarehouse.com. Type in 30 series comet torque converter 3/4 shaft and I'm sure you'll get lots of results. Good luck with your project.
Do you know what size belt is on that torque converter?
Azmar Blye You can find it here www.ebay.com/itm/New-30-Series-asymmetrical-Torque-Converter-Belt-For-Mini-Bike-Go-Kart-/161571839554?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item259e6e9e42
Okay thanks
What r u going to do with the old motor
We sold it
My rear chain sproket didnt line up with the torque converter. The torq converter sproket was close to motor which didnt line up with rear sproket?
Chuckie G's Mopar Garage. If you are trying to put a torque converter on a predator engine it should be pretty easy. If you are putting it on an original Baja engine then it will be a little harder because nothing will line up. You would have to either put spacers or remove spacers.
wow tht was 5 yrs ago now.
Hello. What's the point and where to buy it? thank you in advance
Nodari Khatiashvili it makes the bike go twice as fast and we bought it on eBay.
DO you watch CarsAndCameras ??
Daniel Frame Yes, they have some great builds and cool rigs.
I love cars and cameras
Daniel Frame Note, this engine and drive system conversion was completed a long tom before cars and camers did the exact same thing
Yes, I don't mean it as copying. I just meant he would probably like their channel as they have the same interests. So I was just passing him on to the channel in case he hadn't heard of it.

Jazznote I’m not sure, maybe find out what types of clutches/drive shafts there are and find how to remove the one you have.
If your clutch has a cover on it then take the cover off. You can also roll the back tire until you can see the master link and take that off. Then remove the chain shutoff wire and throttle and the engine can come off without removing the clutch
the bold to hold the front thing of the torque converter to the crank shaft on the engine keeps slippin out and I used a 5/16 24 can u help?
+Donovan Jones

A cuánto corren esas moto bici muy bonitas
I’m 38 watching this.
what can I use to cut the torque converter?
a hotdog
what's the top speed ??
With this combination, I got it up to 45 mph
antalope?
Andrew Shaw YES SIR ITS ANTELOPE AND ROSEVILLE ROAD.
Should've found a HEMI version of the predator
And on mine I detached the pull starter and turned it to where I can pull the cord upwards while on the bike to start it
@DanielB4life, just installed the comet torque a verter , and i cant start her with out having her propped up! how do i get ger to idle with the wheel not moving?
you might have the belt on backwards. on mine, the belt is straight on one edge and slanted in on the other. the slanted side goes out
thank you i'm goin to check that out right now! *thumbs up!
well it turns out that where the "sleeve goes on, it was twisted from where it is suppose to "seat" (you know what i mean the top and button slots where its not 100% round), i put it back on and now it runs like it should! thank you very much!
+Jose Saldana cool
Bro..how much speed reach ??
