Loved it! I'm so tired of the same old straight part in my hair.

Ironically I like flat curly hair and avoid volume and gels like the plague. I like soft texture moisture curl that’s manageable and only use argan oil . I’m content with the way it curls at the end. Though not crazy over excess of products just the basic to hidrate and keep the hair shiny and manageable.

How do you get the part to stay put? My side part only lasts 5 minutes and then starts falling flat on my face

Good ideas. I have more hair on right side. I parted to the left, and it works better for me. Who knew! Lol.

I follow your curly hair routine pretty closely...some days my curls are amazing and other days they are super stringy looking instead of the nice soft silky big curl clumps and I’m just like where did I go wrong?! I’ve been trying the Denman brush (would love your thoughts on that) and am not seeing a ton of results. I end up spraying it down and using more leave in conditioner and it kind of helps. Any ideas? Maybe a video on how to save curls that are turning out bad halfway through blow drying?

Why is the front part of my hair (side parts or bangs) so dry and the rest of the hair soft and shiny.

Im not really sure but i had the same problem but with the whole front of my hair. What i did was change my pillowcase to a silk like material (i dont know what its called). And since then ive noticed that my hair became even and there arent any like dry spots or anything, so maybe try that?

Change your pillow case to silk and use a silk bonnet to sleep!

Do you know of any gels or styling creams that are unscented?
I have “Chemical Sensitivity” and cannot use scented products.

That is so tough! I don't know any stylers that are unscented. I am in Belgium and getting product / stylers in this country is tough enough.

Jessicurl create all of their products in different fragrances and also do an unscented range too. Check out their products for sure. Check their ingredients list to make sure there isn't something else that is an issue, but on the whole I would recommend their fragrance free line x

I've always struggled with parting my hair ever since I started the CGM. My hair doesnt get much volume up top regardless of how I diffuse it and my bangs (although fairly long, think slightly past chin length) always want to fall in front of my face. I also notice that once my hair is dry from diffusing it refuses to flip to the other side of my head if I try to mess with my part. It will just make a weird loop that sticks straight up off of my head. I have very fine loose waves/2b-2c depending on the day. Any advice?

I love this! But/and I`m having real difficulty knowing what to do with my bangs. I have medium long bangs and I´m one year CG, and still have not mastered them. I feel like I look 20 years older because of it. Is there any tricks in cutting to make them look good flipped over or for long sidebangs? Seriously considering cutting short bangs only to get some kind of hairstyle (but I really don´t want short though) :O

curly bangs are their own thing and I would style them separately to the rest of your hair. Even in straight hair, I recommend washing just your bangs and restyling them. When you're drying your bangs, I would twist product into them and shape them exactly where you want them to sit. It's ok for your part to be different from your bangs. Leave your bangs as they are and flip your hair over further back. Create a diagonal or zig zag part instead xx

My hair just turned curly over the past year. I don't know how to style the top front of it when it is wet--I have bangs which of course are now curls that I don't really know how to shape to look good.

Hi Christina what beautiful hair you have. A couple questions please....
    1. Hiw do you get that nice lift at the front on top of your hair?
    2) what spray leave in conditioner would you recommend
    3) please can you tell me make and colour of your beautiful lipstick 😊

I normally just let my part fall where it wants. I find that often my part falls in the middle on wash day, but after 2-3 days it shifts to one side or the other. I have a lot of flexibility with the part in my hair. I definitely agree with the diagonal part, it gives an even look. I prefer the finger method for parting the curls as well, it works best for me.

I'm loving this series of videos Christina!! My question: When I had long curly hair, the pineappling method worked perfectly for sleep (as well as using a silk pillowcase). Now I have a short curly bob, and there's not really enough hair for pineappling effectively, so I'm finding my hair is quite frizzy each morning. Any suggestions?

      Katie Nash
I’ve seen silk caps on amazon, maybe wearing one of those would help. I have long curly hair now and after 20 years I’m getting ready to take the plunge and go for a bob as well.
If you find something that works please let me know and I’ll do the same for you.

    • @Hairromance
      @Hairromance  5 ปีที่แล้ว

there are no rules, you can do a centre or side part, or just have all of your hair going back with a minimal part :) style your bangs first and then decide how you like your part to sit
