Mazda CX-60 3.3l diesel trip with fuel consumption economy test urban mpg l/100 km e-skyactiv d MHEV

- 2024 Mazda CX-60 3.3 e-Skyactiv D MHEV RWD has mild hybrid drivetrain with 3.3l diesel engine (inline-6) + small electric (inside the gearbox). System power: 147 kW (200 HP), 450 Nm, RWD, 8-speed automatic transmission. WLTP homologation figures: 4.4 - 5.6 l/100 km (5.0 l/100 km combined). I checked Mazda CX-60 diesel RWD e-Skyactiv D 2024 on a trip with mostly sub-urban driving, but also in a city. Finally I achieved on ~101.8 km (~63.3 mi) distance such fuel consumption (economy): 3.6 l/100 km | 65.3 mpg US | 78.5 mpg UK. Time with combustion engine off (EV mode): 38:00 mm:ss out of 01:51:00 (~34%). See the whole trip review.

No, it's not impressive. Let it go for 200-300km on highway and check again. When battery goes down it will consume 7-8L/100km. In city driving, with regeneration its still worse than bev.
@@Edukacyjny_pa-troll It's a MHEV car. It can't go purely electric, the small electric motor inside the gearbox just helps when the car starts from 0 km/h, or at small accelerations. It's just a 48V system. Nothing will drain after 200-300kms because this system isn't working with higher speeds. On the other video it averages 6.9 liters/100km with 140km/h, so it's pretty impressive for this car's size, and with a V6 3.3l engine.

But within reasonable speed. Driving at 140kph is much less efficient then 80kph.

I get max 5.1-5.5l per 100 km woth my petrol mild hybrid mazda 3.
Me and my CX-30 Skyactive-X with 186HP and 6MT and FWD get also between 5,1.5,7. In the summer time around 5,2 and Winter Time around 5.5L for 100km. I only drive short ranges around 22km.

In long term this start-stop system in combination with diesel engine will cause a lot of issues with carbon built up in EGR valve, exhaust and intake valves and your particle filter failure.

It will not. Engine was not built by Pat and Mat.
Just because it happened to some other diesels doesn't mean that it will happen to this one. This is completely different concept.
Those start stop cycles are bad for your wallet 😅 just wait and see, save now cry later...
As if the manufacturer doesn't design the components with start/stop in mind...

Your mentality is completely wrong. This will save you 15.000 euros in fuel at 100.000km. Plus this is completely different system it uses electric motor for starting the diesel engine too. And the engine is designed to be on and off.
