hello friends! I really hope you're having a great day. grab a sweet lil cup of tea & hang out with me as I make pretty things for my hair! sending so much love
Look into knitting I-cord. Similar to your ribbon but more round. You use double pointed needles. Fun video! I feel you on wanting to add in all the details. Never enough time!
I did this just because you recommended it Ann!! It's the best. hahahah Neverrrr enough time. also ! My mum is up to making her SECOND pair of magic pants - I have to send a pic when I remember. She LOVES THEM!
these are sooo cute!!! some tips: when doing the petals, mark your sewing line and then cut it in a square. it will give you a lot more to hold onto in the machine. THEN you can trim it to the right shape. this is also great for making dolls which i love. yarn scraps are nearly the same as batting, fluffing or wading, how ever you want to say it. the possibilities are endless!!!!
I watched the whole video specifically for the giant scrunchie at the end, and it was wonderful! I’ve never used a sewing machine, but my parents have one and I have so many ideas now so I’m gonna have to learn!
I learned how to knit with cotton wash cloths. Cast on 4. Row 1: knit. Row 2: knit 2; yarn over needle; knit to the end of the row. Repeat Row 2 until you have 50 stitches. Decrease Row 1: knit 1; knit 2 stitches together; yarn over needle; knit 2 together; knit to the end of the row. Reapeat until you have 4 stitches. Cast off.
Hello. Im a new subscriber and seamstress of many years. (30 + years). Im also a crocheter, sometimes knitter and other crafts, too. You could sew the quilt batting directly to the fabric and then turn it as one piece. I would suggest using wider petals to do this. I love the way you explain the project as you make them. You are doing great.
Love this so much! I’m working up to sewing and am currently a knitter/crocheter. I love the channel Breathing Yarn for knitting inspo. Your channel is helping me motivate to dust off my sewing machine. 😊
You are just so adorable!! 🥰 I look forward to your videos every week!! And just fyi, you could never over explain!! I am a 44yo mom of 2 kids around your age and I find your videos so helpful and informative and so cheerful and fun to watch!! ❤❤
hair styles are so fun!! I edit through CapCut & if there is a handdrawn graphic - I will do that on Procreate on my iPad & I insert it as an overlay in Capcut . :)
Im nb, usually masc ish, so I avoided accessorizing my hair for a long time, but I recently started experimenting with barrettes and I love it! Im definitely going to make the star clips! (With crocodile clips, regular ones would never stay lol)

@@fromcarlyb to make it even better my wedding dress was pink so it was a pink tulle bow!
Yarn scraps make great stuffing for small projects and for us fiber folk we usually have a bunch we just couldn’t throw away.
