my issue with Flexzilla was that the hoses' exterior became very sticky and gooey and it cant be cleaned off ... but i love the lightness and flexibility of the hose ...
Omg! Yeah this alway happens to me too. I can't stand when it starts curling into loops and a few times it kinks. You have to keep and eye on it. I like the red contract garden hose. My electric hose reels work great rolling it up. Do have a video on how you set up a bypass system from the hose reel?
I have two flexzilla hoses and they both started getting really sticky like there was some kind of residue on the outside. Tried cleaning them with degreaser and within weeks they became really sticky again. Not sure what the hell it was but I’m not buying them again. Plus they kink up quite a bit.
If you are switching your reel to storage only why not just cut your flexible into smaller sections and put fittings on the end? Then you just pull what you need. Only reason I mention is I’ve heard horror stories of the zero suctioning and then pump gets starved.
I am not feeding my machine with the zero hose, that is going to my buffer tank. I've only ever drawn from a buffer tank for safety reasons even with my smaller 5.5gpm machine when I started. And 3/4" rubber hose is heavy. Even the flexzilla would still want to twist. I've always liked the zero hose, never had a bad experience...yet lol

I agree, had the same issue with my flexzilla hose.

I don't have a video specifically for that...but if you look at the last Trailer upgrade video for 2024 "Theory and Operation" it shows it in there
I like the zero G but hard to repair. The weak spot is at the connection.

same here i have messaged the company - its a known problem
Out of topic but I’ve never seen a flexzilla with a black strip on it like yours
Great stuff!!!!!
Thank you sir!
Curious. There's quite a lot of negative comments on Amazon about the Zero G Pro hose....
I used it for the last 2 months as extra hoses and it did just fine. If it’s laid out correctly no kinks
I have heard that that the zero G tends to vacuum into itself due to the thin walls. Curious how it works out
Will you have the banjo camlocks between each section of hose or only at the end to connect to the house?
