    think my progress in piano had stopped. because I don't have the time to hire an instructor for home and youtube is full of plethora of videos but never quite the type that can be used practically. Zac has been a a breath of fresh air for my learning. his lessons are so clear and friendly that has again instilled a need in me to learn again. Thank you Nathaniel school of music.

    Mothers heart beat is what the world of the baby is dominated along with the muffled voices from outside and of course with the Mothers own voice. Once bone foot steps become our beat again. So, beats and pulse are engraved in our psyche. We have to listen to regenerate them. Thank you for teaching us to do it......boldly.

    Hi Jason, what do you think about only practicing the left hand before playing with the right hand for a while? Really appreciate your videos and love your passion! ❤

    • @nathanielschool
      @nathanielschool  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks a ton Janet! I do a lot of Left Hand work but try to make it fun for myself - Sing a melody in RH with chords in the LH, Play popular Riffs in the Low register, Develop Drum & Bass lines in the LH. You always have finger drills in case you run out of creative stuff to do 😊

    I love your intro improv and the simple ones you show throughout! I'm at this phase in learning (perfect video for me, thanks!). I'm learning the scales, creating chord progressions and improvising little tunes. But I don't have that catchy rhythm and consistency yet. Regarding keeping rhythm and the sustain pedal...do you only have one foot? 😉
