Crockpot tomato Basil chicken 3-4 chicken breasts (2 lbs) 14 oz can diced tomatoes with Italian herbs 1 cup tomato sauce 3/4 heavy cream 2 tablespoons corn starch 2 teaspoons minced garlic 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 tablespoon dried basil 1/4 teaspoon black pepper chopped fresh basil Spray or line your crockpot Add the chicken and seasoning Add the tomatoes and tomato sauce. Cook on low 2 1/2- 3 hours Whisk the cornstarch in with the cream and add to the crockpot. Stir the sauce, turn off the crock pot, let it sit 15 minutes to thicken the sauce just a bit. Top with fresh Basil, serve alone or over spaghetti , rice, or mashed potatoes
