It’s always lovely to see you both. Pity we didn’t get a better day weather wise. I must say though it’s a long time since I’ve seen the back of my head and I thought I had more hair than that! 🤣 A couple of updates since filming - The Watersport centre still hasn’t opened, the TSB has closed, the harbour is still Orange 🍊 and I’m now on Sunday Breakfast on CRFM. 😊 Looking forward to seeing both later in the year. ❤
@@ThatllDoVlog always good to see you too. See that's what happens when we are behind with uploads. You turn in to the Tony Blackburn of CRFM doing Sunday breakfast. I also think I have more hair than I actually have. So are you doing Sundays instead of the rock show or as well as? We will let you know when we are next up there. Thanks again for the tour. Have they found Phelan's body yet? 😆
We were always taught the D was for Decision or Deployment Day. Cannot help with the bollard name but it is not a cleat. Well that was an interesting video, Paul knows his stuff for sure. PS we have the park up on our list of places if we come back to the area,
It took a couple of years to finally get time for us to get together for long enough to make this one. It is a decent park up though we didn't end up staying there.
This was a loverly video. Thank you Paul, Keith and Daryl! Hope all is well for you both?! I was cleared to rock climb and backcountry ski this week. I’ve climbed twice now. To say that I am feeling stiff and sore is an understatement! Have a great weekend! Cheers!
Brilliant stuff, thank you! 😊 nice to see Paul again 👍
We always enjoy meeting up with Paul and his wife. It's a shame he is time poor now for making videos. 😢
Personal tour guide full of stories - great way to see a place 😊😊😊
It was. So much info shared that we wouldn't have known from guide books.

I think he’s reached the Caribbean! 🤣 Still doing the rock show. 👍🏻
Nice to find out some history from a local lad, we visited April 2021 for a few hours, It certainly has lots of history, great video again 👍
It was really good to be shown around. It has taken us two years to finally find time that fitted for us all to meet up to make this one.
Posts to tie up boats are called pilings apparently! I looked it up. I thought they were called capstans, but they are motorised winches
Captstans is what we thought too afterwards. Thanks for clearing it up.
Having spent a lot of time in the area, I thin that Whitehaven isn't the only start point for the C2C - when we did it, we started in Workington
@@jmw366 The choice of where to start (Whitehaven or Workington) and finish (Tynemouth or Sunderland) so I guess it is a personal choice
This was great, lots of history and stories. Enjoyed this with a coffee. Living by the water like that would be so cool I think. :o) xx
It would. The water calls us as much as the hills xx

That's brilliant news. Well not the aching but being cleared to climb. Soz pleased for you.
@ Thank you, yes, it’ll be a sloooow start. But hopefully by June, I’ll be climbing relatively strong.
A search on TH-cam for That'll Do shows a lot of Peter Gabriel but not our friend Paul. I like Peter Gabriel so no complaints.
Seen Peter Gabriel a few times in concert. Linkxto Paul's channel is in the description now.
Goes to show, anyone can be president of America. I mean anyone! 🤪
Including some idiots for sure 😉
