Good morning fellas, let’s hope next year will bring a bit less grey and rain and a bit/lot more sun. Dandelions are also diuretic - growing up in the country, as kids we were told that picking them would make us wee, so being of a certain age now, I’m very careful not to touch them 😁. Bluebells are so pretty, another favourite of mine. Some people think dandelions are awful but I like them and yes a part of nature that's needed , I have tried dandelion salad a bit bitter for me :o) xx
Though it was a grey day, it still looked relaxing. Fun story, when I was guiding from horseback, I used to tell my guests that the dandelions up in the Montana Rockies were a rare strain of dandelions. They had one less flower petal than normal ones. I told them it was an adaptation to the harsher climate found in our area. Of course, I told all sorts of silly stories like that. To be clear, I always confessed at an appropriate moment, that I was telling a tall tale.
