This is my favorite muppet movie and one of my favorties in general. I sing along to every song in the movie.
Hearing Ashleigh wheezing from laughter was the best.
Especially with Ashleigh saying "The wheeze chuckle" before they enter Fozzie's ship business place. Lol
@@StandUpComedyFan28m She's a treasure.
She has a spectacular laugh.
My dad was a vietnam war vet so most of my childhood movies were ww2 in color and stuff like that but this was the one movie he would watch with me on repeat absolutely adored this film as a kid great memories
The fun thing for me about both this and the Muppets Christmas Carol is that they're both fairly faithful to the original books
This film was my introduction to the Treasure island story and Tim Curry gave such a memorable performance he'll always be my Cpt Silver!
It's crazy to me how many people put Caper last. That's my favorite one.
Me too!
And me!!! That has & always will be my favorite Muppet movie!
That's the joke with Gonzo:
Even HE doesn't know what he's supposed to be!

Ashleigh: "Do we think pirates are still around today? Do we think that's a thing that's still happenin'?"
Captain Phillips: "Am I a joke to you?"
Oh, man... Love this one... Love THE MUPPETS... Always... Wish Disney would have done (and would do) more with Them. xo
If you want a good movie with Tim Curry as the bad guy watch the 1993 version of The Three Musketeers. Make sure it's the one starring Charlie Sheen, Oliver Platt, Keefer Sutherland, Chris O'Donnell, Tim Curry, and Rebecca De Mornay. It was made by Disney. It's my favorite version and the song that goes with it is to die for.
30:57 I just realized what a subtle joke this is, since some goats will stiffen and "faint" or "play dead" when they're startled by a loud noise. Just one more reason to love the Muppet writers.
I think with all Ashley’s questions about it she needs to watch Muppets from Space
I personally feel that that film undercuts Gonzo's uniqueness; I liked him much better as a "whatever."
But I have a feeling that Ashleigh would probably appreciate having her questions answered.
