Me myself I just speak english, greek and little bit italian and of course I understand our Slovak neighbours 😀, but hoping some day I'll learn some another language.

What always struck me with polyglots is the ease of the accent switching. While it might not be 100% always accurate it more often is than not. To me it's like an ability to sing (in tune).

Y'all don't suck at your native languages, it's just that the standard/literary variety of pretty much almost every country is characterized by different syntax, pronunciation, vocab, etc than the various dialects there. This means that you guys might struggle a bit with speaking the standard, ""correct"" language, but you still speak your native variety perfectly. Just to illustrate this, here are a few examples im Brazilian Portuguese, my language: The norm requires nouns and any determiners or adjectives tied to it to agree in number, while I don't speak like that, in fact it'd be unnatural to do so. Os pássaros - The (plural) birds. Os pássaro - The (plural) bird. A sentence can't begin with an object pronoun, while I do that. Amo-te - I love you. Te amo - You(object pronoun) I love. Of course it's important to use the standard language in school, in writing, but if someone tells you you're speakjng your language wrong, they're mistaken.

@@nonamesoyouwontsearchitupi372 its kinda like you pronounce "on" in "wrong" but open up the vowel so it sounds like a "awn", that nasal sound is what you're looking for. The name "João" for example sounds like " Joawn' " (the n represents that nasal sound not an actual "n") So basically the "~" above a vowel gives a nasal sound to that vowel. For example the word for "mother" which is "mãe" is pronounced like the word "ain't" (but with an open "a" and the "t" is silent) so its pronounced as " main' " (again the "n" represents the nasal sound not an actual "n") Hope this helped ;)

After you have released your tongue (still pronouncing N), try saying "Aaahhhh", just like dentists ask for a child do 😅. And then the Portuguese “Ã/” and French “IN/UN” sounds will come out 🤗. Of course, the first time will not be perfect, but just keep training and in a few minutes you will perfect it.

I'm Czech myself and in my whole life I've not left Europe and Haven't been outside of Czech Republic for more than two weeks at a time so I'm very jealous of all the traveling you've done, especially Japan. I can also agree that Czech is beautiful and amazing in so many different ways but I'm writing in English because that's what how my online presence is. I don't think I've ever heard someone say that Czech is a really bad language but pretty much everyone agrees it's very difficult to learn especially as a non native speaker.

Sugestão: vc pode aprender coreano tbm é uma língua muito bonita e o alfabeto é fácil de aprender, a língua em si é interessante por conta dos filmes, séries e músicas que são muito de ótima qualidade e tbm dos manhwas. Quanto ao português como existem muitos sotaques dentro do nosso país desde o sul, centro, nordeste e norte, talvez vc possa começar a treinar a ouvir o sotaque nordestino. @Pls. tak pořád jsi Češka, tak můžeš toho využít a učit se další slovanské jazyky, pokud se ti to nebude plést. Jako třeba Polština a Ruština by se mohla hodit. Třeba o Španělštině se tvrdí, že je jednoduchá, ale to asi tvrdí hlavně anglicky mluvící lidi. Což je pravděpodobně kvůli tomu, že Latina skrze Francouzštinu silně ovlivnila Angličtinu (protože dějiny - asi 300 let FJ úřední jazyk Británie...) a jelikož jsou Latina, Francouzština a Španělština v jedné jazykové skupině, jsou si tyto jazyky dost podobné a když umíš jeden z těchto jazyků dobře, další se ti učí taky dobře.

Jsem fakt ráda že mi youtube doporučil tohle video protože mě to zas trochu motivovalo :D vždycky mě lákaly jazyky a už od dětství se je učím - od školky anglicky, pak jsem měla chvíli ve škole francouzštinu a němčinu a pak samouka španělštiny korejštiny a japonštiny ale nikdy mi nic krom angličtiny pořádně nevydrželo :D je hrozně fajn pocit když vidím důkaz že je možné dosáhnout hodně daleko když se do toho člověk opravdu ponoří a ne jako já sedět jen u anime a dram :D

Dokonalé, konečně někdo kdo umí mnoho jazyků, procestoval svět, patří mezi "mladí" a i přes to dokáže docenit krásu a jedinečnost Českého jazyka. Máš nepopíratelný talent kterého by byla škoda nevyužít, osobně se chci naučit plynule Srbsky, rád bych znal tvůj názor na Srbštinu, jak moc je užitečná a tak, ne že bych to nevěděl ale moc rád si vyslechnu názor někoho kdo má na jazyky talent a dokáže se v nich pohybovat a uvědomovat si potřebu jednotlivých jazyků při pohybu po světě. (samozřejmě dávám palec nahorů, ale to je k mému komentáři snad jasné)

@@nonamesoyouwontsearchitupi372 its kinda like you pronounce "on" in "wrong" but open up the vowel so it sounds like a "awn", that nasal sound is what you're looking for. The name "João" for example sounds like " Joawn' " (the n represents that nasal sound not an actual "n")
So basically the "~" above a vowel gives a nasal sound to that vowel. For example the word for "mother" which is "mãe" is pronounced like the word "ain't" (but with an open "a" and the "t" is silent) so its pronounced as " main' " (again the "n" represents the nasal sound not an actual "n")

After you have released your tongue (still pronouncing N), try saying "Aaahhhh", just like dentists ask for a child do 😅. And then the Portuguese “Ã/” and French “IN/UN” sounds will come out 🤗.
Of course, the first time will not be perfect, but just keep training and in a few minutes you will perfect it.

I'm Czech myself and in my whole life I've not left Europe and Haven't been outside of Czech Republic for more than two weeks at a time so I'm very jealous of all the traveling you've done, especially Japan. I can also agree that Czech is beautiful and amazing in so many different ways but I'm writing in English because that's what how my online presence is. I don't think I've ever heard someone say that Czech is a really bad language but pretty much everyone agrees it's very difficult to learn especially as a non native speaker.

Tudo depende das línguas que a pessoa saiba. Se por exemplo um chinês quisesse aprender Japonês, a gramática não seria assim tão difícil, já que ambas são parecidas.

Como brasileira de São Paulo digo que seu português está ótimo!! Vc diz que esqueceu um pouco, mas realmente não parece pq vc está falando tão fluente. Seu sotaque é totalmente brasileiro. Abraços aqui do BR. Sugestão: vc pode aprender coreano tbm é uma língua muito bonita e o alfabeto é fácil de aprender, a língua em si é interessante por conta dos filmes, séries e músicas que são muito de ótima qualidade e tbm dos manhwas. Quanto ao português como existem muitos sotaques dentro do nosso país desde o sul, centro, nordeste e norte, talvez vc possa começar a treinar a ouvir o sotaque nordestino. Tem vários filmes legais pra ver.

Sama se učím 5 jazyků včetně Češtiny, ale před tvou Japonštinou a Čínštinou smekám, umět čínsky bych jednou taky chtěla.
@Pls. nevím, jako, tohle je první video, které jsem od něj viděla. Překvapení to ale bylo, protože vizuálně vypadá celkem exoticky, fakt bych hádala kteroukoliv jinou zemi než tu naši. Ale borec.
@Pls. tak pořád jsi Češka, tak můžeš toho využít a učit se další slovanské jazyky, pokud se ti to nebude plést. Jako třeba Polština a Ruština by se mohla hodit. Třeba o Španělštině se tvrdí, že je jednoduchá, ale to asi tvrdí hlavně anglicky mluvící lidi. Což je pravděpodobně kvůli tomu, že Latina skrze Francouzštinu silně ovlivnila Angličtinu (protože dějiny - asi 300 let FJ úřední jazyk Británie...) a jelikož jsou Latina, Francouzština a Španělština v jedné jazykové skupině, jsou si tyto jazyky dost podobné a když umíš jeden z těchto jazyků dobře, další se ti učí taky dobře.

Jsem fakt ráda že mi youtube doporučil tohle video protože mě to zas trochu motivovalo :D vždycky mě lákaly jazyky a už od dětství se je učím - od školky anglicky, pak jsem měla chvíli ve škole francouzštinu a němčinu a pak samouka španělštiny korejštiny a japonštiny ale nikdy mi nic krom angličtiny pořádně nevydrželo :D je hrozně fajn pocit když vidím důkaz že je možné dosáhnout hodně daleko když se do toho člověk opravdu ponoří a ne jako já sedět jen u anime a dram :D

Nikdy jsem tě neviděl, dneska poprvé, vyjelo mi to z nějakýho důvodu na youtube. Říkám hej.. to bude zas nějakej cizinec co si myslí že umí česky. Angličtinu máš perfektní (což většina čechů nemá) takže mě ani nenapadlo že jsi čech, když jsi začal česky tak jsem se málem podělal :D Ostatní jazyky nechápu jak můžeš umět a nechápu jak se ti to může neplést dohromady, fakt obrovskej respekt kámo... Tohle je první video od tebe, co vidím a musím říct, že už teď tě obdivuji. Já sama neumím mluvit jinak než anglicky a česky, ale strašně moc bych chtela umět japonsky a španělsky. Jsou to úžasné jazyky a doufám, že se mi naskytne příležitost se je učit.

@@Kaneeren na vdd nao, o português permite o sujeito oculto "quando (eu) era pequeno", o verbo "era" já deixa explicito que é na primeira pessoa do singular

Em português entendemos mesmo sem o "subject pronoun" aparecer. Então o "era pequeno" esta correto (◠‿◕)
Sim, pensei o mesmo mano, somos das unicas línguas que isso acontece. Até no francês que tudo é diferente eles têm que dizer sempre o pronome pessoal.

Sucede lo mismo en español. Entendemos igual "cuando era pequeño" o "cuando yo era pequeño".
Tinha algumas horas que a gente percebia que ele não era nativo do Brasil, mais tinha horas que ele falava perfeitamente e chega dava gosto de saber q o Brasil foi notado ✨
