I’m a 90D user as well. Love the feel and ergonomics of it. I don’t do much video. I’m into wildlife and bird photography. My main lens is a Sigma 100-400. As well as a Canon 10-18, Tamron 90mm macro, Sigma 18-250, an older 2012 vintage lens. My second camera is Canon 80D. Love it as well.
Having an 80D as a second is good as well. Nice assortment of lens you have too. The 90D is a top dog camera and can hold its own against any of the new stuff. 💯🙌🏾🫡
The 90D is probably the last hurrah for DSLR's and probably the only one with "modern" 4K video features. I just traded in my M6 Mark II for a used 90D because the EF-M format has gone the way of the dodo. However EF lenses will probably be around for quite some time.
You made a mistake...m6 mark ii it's way better..compact size,electronic viewfinder (optional),cheaper and ofcourse 3rd party lens support (sigma trio 16mm,32mm,56mm)
I have the 90D and same as you I loved this camera as soon as it was released. I've also got the ZV-E10 which is great but the feel of the camera (90D) is just awesome. I've just bought the Sigma 150 - 600 to go with it . What stops me from going down the RF route would be the block on 3rd party lens. One day when Canon wake up then I might venture into the mirrorless Canon world.
That is a really nice camera but I'd recommend sticking with whatever you already have glass for to reduce acquisition costs. as long as it fits your requirements then it's a good choice.
It’s an awesome camera. I’ve had it for 3 years now. I also have the EOS RP but I always prefer to shoot with the 90D and use it a majority of the time.
The 90D is surely aging well! Im sure in the next 3 to 5 years people will look back and try and find one just for the DSLR feel and the way the image quality looks.
I have the same equipment as you, and I have to tell you I still love this camera. I bought it because it’s my dream camera and I do not regret it. There are many factors that make love this camera and even better the versatility in lenses that we can use in the canon90D. I'm obsessed with the 18-35 sigma! But I recommend to use the 70-200mm ultrasonic lens. Truly incredible results are obtained.
Bought a 90D one week ago. After buying an 1100D a month ago, the 90D kept popping up on TH-cam, and jumped at the chance. It's awesome. I've been using iPhone for photography for years, thought it was time to 'get real'.
I have exactly this camera and lens since one year ago, plus a Sigma Art 70-200 and think it’s perfect; before I had a 70D. In my case I don’t take sport or nature photos, but I take a lot of shots in big interiors like gothic cathedrals with very low light, so it’s great for that.

Well to be honest the video coming soon but I went ahead and bought the 90d over the R7. It will be here tomorrow and I cant wait!! I think which ever one you pick will be good. The 90D has always been my dream camera so even when Im done using it, it will sit on my shelf as a relic! 🙌🏾💯

I have the 90D with the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 and they are an awesome combo. I also use it for my Sunday School class videos in combination with my 5D MIV & C100 MKII. The 4K is awesome but it also does 1080 wonderfully. Video & photos are really good strait out of camera. The R7 is a really nice mirrorless camera but have you considered the R6? The prices on those are coming down and it’s full frame. The canon EF & EF-S lenses work perfectly on adapted Canon mirrorless cameras. There are Canon & aftermarket (more reasonably priced) RF to EF/EF-S adapters with built in variable ND filters. The 90D with all those mega pixels can be unforgiving with certain lenses. I love my 90d I just want more lenses. 17-35, 24-70, and 70-200!! 🙏🏾 I’m saving up to get the 24-70 since it’s basketball season. Then I’ll try to get the 70-200! 💪🏾 it’s so tempting just to get a credit card or take out a loan, but I wanna start my brand debt free.

The canon 90d is a great camera. Love it to bits, upgraded it from a 70d and i really cant get rid of it, even after buying into the fuji system with a xt4. For me its the optical viewfinder and that i used canon dslrs for over a decade who let me keep it despite having another system i use more atm.
I have had my 90d for about 2 years now, don’t regret it at all. Colors out of the camera are great! Videos are great too! Love the controls. My biggest peeve is the brightness of the display, terribly hard to see in bright sunlight 🤷♂️ other than that, I couldn’t ask for a better camera really.
Yes sir I am loving mine as well. I have an external monitor for the bright days. I think you should look into getting one. It will allow you to see the screen better. 🙌🏾💯🫡
I know it is an expensive lens, but I bit the bullet and purchased the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM, and it stays on my 90D camera most of the time. It just plays well with the 32.5 MP sensor. Since you don't mind renting equipment to try out, you may want to try it on the 90D to see what you think. I am planning to get a full frame body, maybe a used 5D MK iv, or eventually a mirrorless body. I rented the R6 MK II, and while is was a great performing camera, it wasn't enough to justify the cost, and a new 5D MK iv is the same price as that. I have learned not to buy into all of the hype. Renting a camera to try is the way to go.
Trust me brother I am almost positive I will be renting that lens to try out. Mirrorless cameras are nice but I love the 90D lol!! I bought my 90D recently with the sigma 18-35 and the 24-105f4 L. So that 24-70 is something I gotta try!!!🙌🏾💯
That 90D is great for anything professional outside of maybe super large prints but I’m still using my 80D professionally. Im watching your video because Im looking at getting a 90D or an R8. I just dont wan to purchase any RF Glass.
Yea those RF lenses are very expensive. The 90D can be the upgrade for now for the next few years until you’re ready to jump ship to the RF line. At least you’re doing it professionally now, and once you upgrade the 90D can be a B camera.

What is the sigma 70-300mm u have? I bought one for my 90D and it has a lot of chromatic aberration, takes a lot to focus and cant take sharp images or takes a lot of out of focus ones
I got the 90d for a wile now but I have some problems now i don’t know if is the camera or the lens. It take some seconds to take the picture n some time I have to turn it off. Then the picture will come blurry. With my sigma 17-50 n my tampon 70-200 I don’t .can some help
Hey buddy, I just stumbled across your video and I think that you'll be pretty happy with the Canon 90D, especially considering that you already have a few lenses. I bought my 90d a little over a year ago. I have a 10-18mm, a 18-55mm and a 50mm 1.8 at the moment. I'll probably get the 55-250mm next. I usually record uncropped 4k directly to my laptop, using a dummy battery and an Elgato Camlink 4k, so I can record as long as I want. There's no perfect camera, but I think that you're on the right track considering what you have in mind.
Thannks for the awesome response. Yea as the days wind down to me returning it, its becoming more clear as to why I always wanted it. I feel like every camera has it limitations and as long as your ok with the work around then you’ll always be good. I see people complaining that the zve1 has more features than there 3 and 4k cost cameras. So in the end no camera is perfect and we have to get what we want and like. The 55-250mm stm isnt that good, mine has dark corners at the 250mm range with open apperture. It does work for some photos, but i think sigma or tamron has a better tele for ef(-s) mount. But maybe i got a bad version from it. Since shortly i use 2 systems, my canon 90d shares now time with the fuji xt4 i dont really use the tele on the 90d anymore. The fuji tele (xf 50-200) is better than the stm. Its funny, the fuji and the control scheme gives me a bit more fun, and the jpegs are marvellous, but i cant really get rid of my 90d, because of the days i want an optical viewfinder and the greater resolution of it (beside i dont have a makro lense for fuji and my tamron 90mm makro is pretty nice to me).

The Canon 90D is probably not the best camera at everything (or anything, for that matter), but it's a great allrounder. I´ve had mine for a little over a year now, and I love it.

Try a canon EOS r or R6 and you will never go back to 90d. 90d is not a good camera. It makes you miss more shots than a 70d. The sensor is grainy and to a certain extent unpredictable. Most lenses do not resolve well. Remember, in real world terms 30 mp in a crop sensor makes no sense other than macro photography under flood lights. The sensor is too dim.
I understand the limitations of the camera but for family videos, photos, and small youtube videos. I think it does those things well. Now if I was going about it trying to be a professional in the photo and video space then, I would have to snag or add another camera to the bunch. Thanks for the comment I appreciate it🙌🏾💯🫡

I had the T3i but sold it because I upgraded to the 90D and love it. The video comes out great and it is so easy to use.

The 90D is awesome! The Sigma 85mm 1.4 would be the best lens to pair with the 18-35mm.

i have the cannon 90D with a 24-70 and i want to have now a wide angle lens so is the sigma 18-35 1.8 good for wide angle shots and quality ?
Youll need the 10-18mm for wide shots. The 18-35 is awesome but we have a 1.6 crop on our cameras. I should be getting a 10-18 soon
