- Steam Special:
We chased The Empress CPR 2816 from Uren Saskatchewan to MooseJaw Saskatchewan on April 27th. Also included is some footage from the event on the 28th. This was the first time seeing CPR 2816 and it was really epic. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Great video. Thanks.
Great music - and a fantastic IMAX movie too! Worth watching.
Yes, I thought it would be perfect, and I tried to honor them in a way. Hopefully, I succeeded!
@@PersonmadudeRailwayProductions You did a good job of video work, some artistry in there, a story. It is quite a joy to watch those drivers and connecting rods do their thing. It is almost hypnotizing!.. I have seen this train up close in 2012 in Salmon Arm BC, have videos from it at that time. A glorious restoration. But that IMAX movie went all out and could watch it over and over again. Yup, you did OK!
Nice CP 2816 Steam Engine
Nice
Thanks!

Was it pulling those two diesel locos?
It was, they are there for support, in case of a breakdown, ans because they do not want to work the locomotive too hard because this is a long time, they will use them to push in notch 1 or 2. They are also used for braking.
May sound stupid, but does anybody know why there’s no caboose? I love 2816.
They don't usually run caboose on passenger trains, plus they probably don't have any restored caboose.
Can you check the scanner? Im at park st rn
The F units are needed but they ruin it for me.
At least it’s a better choice than a modern steamer.
