- In this video I demonstrate how we installed a C-Notch kit on our Chevy 64 C-10. I also review the Classic Performance Products C-Notch kit we bought and used for our truck.
Welcome to the ASAP GARAGE channel. My name is Cameron and I'm a gearhead. My dad (Tom) and I have been working on cars for as long as I can remember. This Channel looks to produce vlog/how-to videos that aim to help or entertain other car enthusiasts. I will be working to provide weekly content.
Our current build is a Chevy 64 C10.

Maaaan I love the way that sounds. Watched this video like 7 times already. I bought a 71 last month with a 307 3 on the tree. I ordered a lot from Jegs and now just have to find the time to actually install it all
Nice! This kit worked well for us!
Just so everyone knows.. leafspring and coil have different install locations. I just installed them in my 72 c10 long bed and if i would have followed the placement for the coil install. The notch would have been way to far forward
Did you just drill new holes in the bracket after you notched it to fit where the track bar goes?
Hey! No, from my recollection we didn't drill any new holes after making that adjustment. I believe I put a (brief) close up shot of the kit in my powder coating video if you're interested in checking that out. Thanks for stopping by the channel Oscar!
ASAP GARAGE ok I will. Thanks!
as a welder and fabricator, there is no way I wouldn't buy the kit. It's so much easier. after you bought the materials and spent the time, no way would you be ahead doing it yourself. CPP has it down to a process, they make money on volume. Buy the kit.
Totally agree man! I like the 69 on your channel btw. Thanks for stopping by.
to mark cut lines just take the driverside c notch and lay it on the passenger side frame and mark, and vice versa, no need for all that cardboard template shit. eazy sleezy!
Great idea! Easy breezy!
