Hope you enjoy this performance of Scriabin's ecstatic and mystic masterwork: the 5th Sonata.
Synesthesia is the phenomenon of seeing color when you hear music. My performances are inspired by great pianists such as Vladimir Horowitz and Sviatoslav Richter. The LED visualizer is inspired by TH-camrs such as Rousseau, Kassia, and Traum Piano. New reactive visualizer videos weekly!

Seriously tho. Being the first person in the world to play this titanic piano sonata in the synesthesia format, offering an awesome recording of the piece, and having it as your first upload is such an extraordinary achievement. Congratulations with the result of all the hard work you must have put in this.

A synth video of freaking Scriabin Sonata no.5 with an actually good interpretation of it? Amazing. Top notch. Did I mention that the interpretation is good? Literally, I feel like I understand Scriabin's writing a lot better after listening to it. No other version of this piece on youtube better brings out the main motives to my knowledge. So yeah, bravo synesthetic! Also your handspan makes me feel jealous.

ironic because scriabin believed this to be a very dark piece to the point where he believed this piece summons demons. He ended up writing the 6th sonata to be a sort of exorcist for this sonata. Scriabin refused to even play this one, and there are accounts him trailing off, zoning out, and going pale while playing this piece hahah. Wild!

This is super impressive and all the other comments basically gives all the praise I'd have to give. But one thing I've not seen many people mention are the colours of the synthesis - I listened to the piece once before following the score and the colours I'd associated with each section pretty much exactly match with the colours used in each section here. Idk if this was just a cool coincidence or if Scriabin actually intended for this with his synesthesia but it was super cool to see!

Feel like you should have gone ham on this piece, you gave it such a "romantic" treatment
Then again, this is a very technically challenging piece, so the fact that all the different melodies and subjects are all so well and clearly outlined is quite remarkable; I just think that for this piece, it may have been worth it to sacrifice some of that clarity for a bit more energy. Then again, this is understandable given the nature of this kind of video where you can't really afford wrong notes.
Anyway, impressive stuff! Hope I can play this at some point (which is certainly somewhat far from me for now).
