The Piano Sonata No. 5, Op. 53, is work written by Alexander Scriabin in 1907. This was his first sonata to be written in one movement, a format he retained from then on. A typical performance lasts from 11 to 12 minutes. - เพลง
This is my first time listening to Scriabin. I have to say underrated is an understatement for him. His music is magical (that too it sounds good on synthesia, can't imagine how it sounds on a piano), He uses the augmented / whole tone scale a lot but it doesn't feel dissonant more like "glittery". I also am very mesmerised by the whole tone scale and I try to use in my compositions but I can't make it sound nearly as good as Scriabin (or Debussy as a matter of fact), and also the blending use of harmonies is just out of this world. I just ignored Scriabin before but that was a mistake. I can't believe I didn't discover him until now after 2 years of classical music. Thank you for introducing me to the most underrated classical composer.
seems like u still have a lot to learn about Scriabin
also he's not 'the most underrated classical composer', there are many composers that are more unknown
@@cadenzalien4554 Yeah I know some of them already like Mereaux, Henselt, Alkan, Finissy , and who will forget Sorabji. But yes there are MANY more I dont know.
@@pastichemusic3568 medtner! I think you’ll love him!!! Check his op 51 pieces out as a first impression😁

Synesthesia on synthesia
1:49 and 9:16 I like this. 😁
What VST or piano sound effect do you use?
Can I ask what’s the piano sample?
Hi, is "elgato game capture card 4k60" needed for capturing this?
11:45 scrabo
2:05 is it normal that it sound jazzy?
For my, It sounds bossa nova, but yes, I trust that's normal.
Well it would be more accurate to say it is normal that jazz sound like scriabin? Because when Scriabin composed this sonata jazz didnt have elements like this.
@Schuyler Bacn omg sxhurler bacn
I thought Scriabin had very small hands...
XDD, me too
Please make more videos on 4K! 😅
the beginning.. it scares me.
1:49
Debussy...
11:45 Eight fingers left hand required???!!!
pedal holds down through whole line pre much
@@connorrichardson368 Also my guess is that the colors represent clefs and not left/right hands
@@CalamityInAction not at all, the colors dont really mean much at all. This part isn' t particularly difficult and is one of the easier parts imo
It's just there since the AI can't play the piece well so it's there to maintain the bass sound that's supposed to be there. But it's also on the score
F*cking Difficult
indeed its quite difficult
this movie has wrong note and wrong count between first one minutte.
After listening to that I can gladly admit: I hate expressionism.
juliangst I have to say I also struggle to find those pieces pleasant to hearing
@@alexbrk1157 Imagine with atonal...
Amédeé Lefroid de Mereaux what do you mean by that?
@@alexbrk1157 the atonal pieces are totally dissonant so they sound badly to the ear, even more than this Sonata.
A good example of atonal piece could be the Opus Clavicembalisticum by Sorabji
juliangst Scriabin would argue with you that he wasn’t impressionist at all. In fact, he hated Debussy.
