It’s no coincidence that almost everyone who likes Scriabin truly *loves* Scriabin. I am currently still in this obsessive phase with his music; I’ve listened to everything one can find on the internet and adore all of it. He could orchestrate better than anyone and his piano work is up there with the masters like Chopin and Beethoven.

@@yashbspianoandcompositions1042 of course but Scriabin changes all throughout his life significantly. Ravel's style stays consistent at least from around 1905. Sure it evolves in terms of technique but the overall style doesn't significantly change... Late Scriabin is significantly different stylistically to early Scriabin and even middle Scriabin deviates a lot from early Scriabin

Once you put out the metaphor “evaporating molasses” and then I can suddenly taste music in my mind! it’s tastes like slightly burnt caramel that’s bittersweet... You’re truly a genius at describing music Nahre, love this video as always

I just love how fast the annotations are in the second piece of the set. That's REALLY what listening to Scriabin feels like. 😅

Superb, Nahre. I'm going to watch this at least 50 times to understand Scriabin better. 😊Thank you for sharing your hard work and sensational talent. And have to say; as someone who has followed you and your videos for some time, so glad to see Bobby sitting on your lap again.

Very accessible in-depth analysis of style. Equally a great pianist and teacher, you have not only done countless hours playing and becoming intimately involved with Scriabin's musical style, you have reached further into the whys and wherefores of many intricate moments and have explained your thoughts on them extremely well. Happy Birthday was stylistically spot on- hidden well enough that anyone listening without knowledge of your goal would never have guessed it. You're a formidable musician in all senses of the word.

Love your video! You made an in-depth research of his life and musical style, very clerly explained and then composed two beatiful Scriabinesque preludes ... your knowledge and musicality turns this video into a master class on Scriabin and musical analysis. Makes me want to know more about his music. Congratulations and thank you for your work!

Awesome video! I love the way you assimilate the word of a composer to understand his musical language. I’m sure only the first step, getting the main elements of their music is such a demanding work! Every single second of this video is so catchy and elaborate! You are definitely one of my favorites on TH-cam!
